Terrible Service 12/22/2009

I've bought pieces from Schwarzchild in the past, but I definitely won't be shopping there any more! When looking for a ring, one of the sales people there wrote me a quote on a piece of paper with the size, clarity, etc. on it. When I went back to buy the ring a couple days later, a different sales person told me my quote was wrong, the price was much higher for that clarity. Then they proceeded to try & push a much more expensive piece on me, over my budget. So I left. Then I went to Adolf on Parham & found what I was looking for without the smarmy sales push I got at Schwarzchild. I won't be back to Schwarzchild anytime soon. Pros: selection Cons: pushy sales people, bait & switch more

Don't count on Schwarzchilds to get your order right or on time. 7/21/2008

I had my mother's ring resized to fit my finger at the Schwarzchild's in Carytown. The service was great, and they had the ring ready within a week in beautiful condition even though they had to add extra gold. It was done really well, really quickly, and priced under all of the other jewelers to whom I had taken the ring. This one instance built a lot of trust for this jeweler, but the next few incidents broke the trust. Pros: knowledgeable sales people, courteous service Cons: orders lost, incorrect merchandise, poor delivery time more
