We went for a nice Mother's Day lunch and received horrible serviced. It seemed like they were rushing people to order and eat and they we not even busy no line. Also we place our order for drinks and appziter and we never saw the water after that for refills or never got the appizeter. We told the hostes to cancel and our order and we were leaving cause of the horrible service after waiting for 20 minutes and he just said ok. Will never go back or tell people to go there. You will get better service eating at the food court at the mall. more

Best simple meal 6/28/2006

I love this place!! we go there even if were not at the mall!!! It doesnt take long to get a table, basically walk in and get seated. The food is great, good service... and it doesnt take an hour to eat like most restaurants. Its not the ideal place for kids but its not completely terrible. I would recomend it to anyone looking for good Italian. Pros: doesnt take as long to eat as most restaurants Cons: located in the middle of the mall more

Very disappointing 1/9/2006

My husband and I tried eating here but it was impossible. It took a while to get seated and after that nobody came near our table for a good 15 minutes. No menu, no water, nothing. Finally, my husband got up and told the manager that we were not being attended to and the manager didn't seem to care at all and he said someone would be along shortly. He wasn't doing anything but he didn't even bother to give us menus or even apologize! Very unprofessional and rude. We got up and left and nobody even noticed or cared. We go out a lot and this does not happen often so we were very disappointed and obviously will not go back there again! Cons: bad service,, lousy service,, crappy service more

I would have never thought of putting this restaurant in the location of North Star Mall. It seems to work. The service is slow, expect to have a meal last up to two hours. Luckily I was dining with my dear friend who has traveled a bit and she recommended marvelous dishes. We had a nice bottle of Chianti with the meal as Luciano's does not serve from a full bar. The wine was a nice compliment to the meal. Try the Creme Brulee or Tiramisu, they were wonderful with a cappacinno. Pros: authentic, delicious, big portions Cons: , slow service, water fountain sprays more
