WORST MOTEL IN TEXAS\r \r 1) YOU CAN'T GET ANY SLEEP in this rathole. There's no sound insulation at all.Details follow.\r \r 2) THIS MOTEL IS THE WORST DUMP IN TEXAS: (I took lots of pictures.)\r Locks won't lock. They won't lock because there is not one single door in the whole motel that does fit into its frame.\r All of the heaters and A/C units spew mold and other vile stench. In four rooms, they were all the same. You could get lung disease in five minutes flat if you stay in this Red Roof Inn.\r Half of my room was always in the dark because all the lights don't work on that side.\r TV speakers ruined and distorted.\r No internet access. It's promised to you, but it doesn't work.\r Toilet stinks because there isn't any water in it after you flush.\r Shower drain broken, so tub all full of scummy water, towel racks installed so low, your wet towel hangs all over the toilet.\r Clothes rack hanging out of the wall because the motel did not screw them into a solid surface in the wall, just the stucco, then they never bothered to fix that, either.\r \r 3) HOTEL GUESTS ARE STREET CRIMINALS:\r At 4:40 a.m., after calling the night desk all night and getting no relief, I walked over and made a report to two police cruisers at the all-night Taco place next door. I did so because the people in the next rooms...211 and 212...were selling drugs out of this motel all night.\r I took another picture then. It's a picture of the barricade I had to build in case the drug dealers saw me and tried to kick in my door and shoot me. I made the barricade because my room's lock would not work?just like the locks that don't work in the other rooms.\r \r 4) NO INTERNET SERVICE:\r I checked in on 11-25-15. The clerk said nothing about any problems with the internet access which this Red Roof Inn promises. All of 11-25, 11-26 ,11-27 , and on 11-28, there was no internet access, just as there was no internet service for other victims who wrote older reviews on this very page.\r \r 5) THE OTHER HOTEL GUESTS ARE ALSO LOWLIFES. AND THEY WILL RUIN YOUR WHOLE TRIP:\r Good cheap motels don't allow check-ins after 10:00 p.m. This motel does, so its low-life clientele arrives all night long, honks car horns, blasts loud music, blasts the TVs all night, &speaks very loudly. The motel's vampire lowlife guests also walk around all night above your room, so you hear greatly amplified footstep noisefrom above...because there is absolutely no sound insulation at all in this terrible motel...amplified like you're inside a drum.\r \r 6) REFUSED TO LET US LEAVE AND GO STAY AT A BETTER MOTEL. Refused to let us break our multi-night stay and leave, even after there was problem after problem. They're that greedy.\r \r 7) UNTRAINED EMPLOYEES at this Red Roof Inn can't even tell you where the motel is, or how to get there as you are driving around in endless circles on San Antonio's notoriously bad-signage freeways. Yes, we did have a map while we were trying to get help. It would appear that Red Roof management has never heard of one, and neither have the know-nothings who work at this one.\r \r 8) TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT: I specifically asked for quiet when checking in?.the motel was deserted at the time, and there were plenty of empty rooms?.and the clerk just checked me in with a room that was underneath another room. Then somebody at the desk put some vampire guests in the room above us, and they just walked around all night. It was impossible to sleep. I was a wreck for the rest of our trip.\r \r 9) SWIMMING POOL WAS LIKE AN ICEBOX in 65-degree weather because motel won't spend the money to heat it properly.\r \r Stayed November 2015, traveled with family more

Front desk was courtious and rooms were deciet. ive stayed here several times on in the past, but this time was un-acceptable. A night club opened right next door to hotel. Myself and my Boyfriend were awaken by a man and a woman arguing right at our door!!! we also had to park far from our room because security on duty told us that if a fight breaks out due to drunks coming out of the bar the hotel was not responsible for damages to our truck!! \r We could not get our money back because i had booked the room on line, and my kids were tired from spending the whole day at Seaworld we had no choice but to stay.\r So, if you want to be awaken at 2am when the club closes by arguing drunks and skreetching tires pulling out of the parking lot, then stay,, but you have been warned!! DONT STAY!!! more

This Inn was awful! We stayed here when my brother graduated from boot camp and it was so dirty, and my parents gave me the clean room. The morning breakfast was so limited I choose to go to the Vending machine. It did however serve the purpose of a place to sleep. more

The staff here was extremely friendly and willing to help in any way. The room was very affordable. I liked the fact that the rooms have a fridge and microwave. the only beef I had was the cable tv consists of a 2hbo channel and about 5 more channels. its extremely close to the base so if your here for a grad. and need to stretch your dollar it will suit you fine. more
