Dr. Rayne has good dentistry skills and is very personable. She is into alternative treatments. I rate her dentist skills very highly.\r \r I disapprove of the way she manages her office. Her office assistant insisted that I pay for work that had yet to be performed (in fact, it wouldnt be performed for four months). Yet, the assistant (after walking back and talking with Dr. Rayne) told me I had to pay that day. I didnt have a check and my credit card did not have enough available credit.\r \r She put a lot of pressure on me to drive home and get a check--for work to be done in four months!!!!\r \r Then, I caught her lying to me twice about whether another office (periodontist) had called them and requested an appointment (I know this because I called the other office and they told me the truth.\r \r When I went to another dentist, they found out that Dr. Rayne had already been paid by my insuance company for the work that had not yet been done--creating another hassle for me. \r \r Good riddance to that office. more

Dr. Rayne is the best dentist that I have been to, hands down, flat out! She is the first dentist that has actually made it clear to me just how important proper dental hygiene, preventative care, and maintenance are for a healthy mouth (and a healthy body!). And, she clearly loves her job. She is always happy, conversational, warm, and above all, GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES.\r \r When I came to her, she diagnosed me with having the beginnings of periodontal disease,something that three previous dentists had missed. However, with her recommended hygiene program, I now have entirely rehabilitated my gums and am 100% healthy! \r \r The office make special appointment times--each day I go in, I am able to get in at 7:30 and out no later than 8:20, which means that even with the traffic on MoPac I am able to put in a full day of work. Both of the receptionists are wonderful--warm, funny, and competent, just like Dr. Rayne. They also call, without fail, a day before my appointment to remind me. \r \r The hygienists and assistants are just as excellent as the rest of the office--each one that i have had has been gentle, friendly, and spot-on with their cleanings. I have never left feeling sore or abused--though I have at the hand of some other dentists and hygienists. And, I get sunglasses to block the glaring lamp, and a neck-warmer and blanket if I am cold. Pampering at its best! \r \r They have a variety of anesthesia options--ranging from entirely natural/meditative ""sedation"" to traditional anesthesia, and everything in between. I am under a naturopathic doctor's care, and am completely satisfied with the way Dr. Rayne works with my practitioner to make sure each thing she does for my mouth is the best for my body. And she never uses metal in your mouth! Ever!\r \r I heartily reccomend Dr. Rayne and her staff...if you want a dentist that will improve the condition of your mouth and make you feel good while doing so--visit Dr. Rayne. \r Pros: Parking, Friendly Staff, Fast Service, Quality of Work, etc. etc. Cons: the building was difficult to find the first time...but only once! more
