I have had this large scar on my knee since I was 15 years olds. So because of that I would not wear anything where you could see it. I would always wear long skirts or pants. I tried a number of things like wearing the patches that are supposed to flatten your scars (that did not work). Anyway I was scared of plastic surgery but I decided to give it a go. And my first consultation went lovely I was not ashamed. The doctor told me the price for my surgery would be around 1,500( a fair price). And that he could make my scar better but it would never go away.On the day of my surgery i was nervous but I trusted my doctor. It was a bit painful but worth it in the end. You can hardly see the scar and now I feel more comfortable wearing what I want
