Rude and Condescending 8/11/2012

I went here despite reading all the negative reviews on other sites. I should have followed others advice and went to Sophisticated Pair in Burlington. The bra patch people were rude, refused to answer questions about why they were trying to put me in a larger band that I told them didn't feel right. They won't do special orders nor ship them to you and their return policy is non existent. I came in with my 12 year old daughter and the employees acted like I had walked in with a pet snake or something. I left and am going to Sophisticated Pair! more

A Wonderful Experience 11/4/2008

I took my daughter to Pennyrich to be fit for a bra. She has a small frame, but a larger cup size. The staff was amazing! They were friendly and knowledgable. The bras are expensive, but very high quality. I would recommend Pennyrich especially if you are a difficult size to fit. more

Bra Fittings 2/12/2006

I wore a strapless wedding dress when I got married several years ago and had a horrible time finding a bra that fit and held up everything properly. My wedding dress maker suggested the Pennyrich Bra Patch to me, so I made the trip to Cary. The staff did a bra fitting for me and showed me several bra styles to chose from that would work with my dress. Because I am rather petite, even they did not have a bra that fit exactly, so my bra had to be altered too. The Bra Patch altered for me at no extra charge. The bras here are more expensive than most bras in your average department store, but if you have body that is hard to fit, this store is the place to go. more

Cheap Bras 1/20/2006

Bras can get super expensive depending on where you shop. the Pennyrich bra patch has lots of very nice lingerie, for not as much money as their competitors. Ive never seen anything in here for pennies, but there are definatly things that are MUCH cheaper than you'll find them at other places. more

Small Selection 12/31/2005

This store has a rather small selection of bras and lingerie. However, they carry some things not carried in other stores in the area. If you need a bra to go under a special occasion or wedding dress, this is a good choice. Don't be modest though! To get the right fit, the saleslady comes into the dressing room and fits you herself. They have more products in the back than are on the floor. Not a place I'd shop for my everyday bras but a place to go when I can't find what I need elsewhere. more

Not Crazy About this Lingerie Store 8/21/2005

I had heard many good things from a number of people about this store, and even my mother suggested it (maybe that was a clue)- anyway- after going to this store, I have to admit that I was a little less than pleased. I was going in thinking I was going to find quality lingerie- but left feeling that what they had was over priced and not near as quality as I find at Victorias Secret. In my opinion, it was more along the lines of Fredericks of Hollywood. I cannot recommend this store and will likewise, not be returning there as a customer. I think I will stick to Victoria's Secret. more

Strapless Heaven! 8/20/2005

I was told to come here in my never-ending search for the perfect strapless bra to wear with my wedding dress. Once I found it, I couldn't believe that I hadn't come years ago! You just must get measured by a staff member there, to find out your true bra size. It is amazing that so many people wear the wrong bra sizes! Once we determined what size I truly was, a strapless bra was ordered and I have not had any problems with it! Pennyrich Bra Patch is quite a gem! more

Thank goodness for this store! 8/19/2005

I was walking around for years wearing the wrong size - not anymore. I couldn't find a strapless bra that fit correctly for my wedding dress, and someone recommended the store. It was quite a drive from Chapel Hill, but well worth it. The lady at the store busily came in the dressing room with me and told me I wasn't a 34C but a 30DD. Arg! No wonder none of those other bras fit. Now this is the only place I can go to find bras that fit in the Triangle, and even this store only has my size sometimes. I have to resort to online shopping (Bravissimo and FigLeaves) whenever Pennyrich can't help me. more

The only place in town for me to get a bra. 8/19/2005

Okay. I admit it. I'm heavyset, and I've got the matching figure to go with it. So, I can't just walk into any store and buy a bra off the rack. I have to go to a bra fitter and get measured and fitted. I've been going back to the Pennyrich Bra patch for years now, and I ALWAYS walk out of the store with a perfectly fitted bra. NO more back pain. no pinching, no straps falling off of my shoulders. AH Relief! more
