This museum is amazing. We had a blast checking out the mummies and the egyptian collection. My family really enjoyed all of the galleries and we plan on visiting it again.

I love this museum 1/17/2006

This museum is an interesting place to spend the afternoon. It's small but it has life size dioramas reconstructed of various times on earth. There are displays of fossils and artifacts. If you have an interest in archeology, this museum is for you. They usually have an interesting changing exhibit, so you can go periodically and see new things. more

Good museum 1/16/2006

The University of Pennsylvania museum is a very charming and lovely place to visit. They are not a very big museum but they have a lovely Egyptian exhibition. The exhibition is very detailed and fun for the entire family. My kids loved the mummy exhibit and all the cool artifacts. parking is available right next door so no hassle there. more

Mummies and more 8/18/2005

Kids love this stuff, and so do many of us bigger kids. The ancient Egyptian artifacts are awesome. My kids loved the mummies. There are galleries dedicated to many ancient cultures, to Asia, Africa, the Greeks and Romans. There are many fascinating pieces on display and the staff is chock full of information. you can arrange for a tour guide or view the exhibits on your own. The museum shop is great and their is a separate kids shop area which they will love! more
