Best

I have always liked this place. The ingredients are top notch and plentiful, the crust comes out great with their own cook tray. They put out lots of coupons so check your Sunday ...

Worst

Why is a take and bake pizza joint even mentioned in this section? The pizza is average at best...lots of ingredients but sauce and crust are not any thing to write home about......

Great all around pizza 2/14/2010

I have always liked this place. The ingredients are top notch and plentiful, the crust comes out great with their own cook tray. They put out lots of coupons so check your Sunday paper etc. I have been coming to this place for over 5 years and the consistency remains. They have excellent stuffed pies too they weigh like 5 lbs so go a long ways. Compared to a lot of other places around St Louis Park this is excellent pizza for the money and convience of pickup and then bake at your leisure. Pros: Great quality ingredients and lots of them more

Not-so-good 1/2/2003

This is only one or two steps up from frozen. If I have to put in the work to bake & cut it, then it should measure up better than this. The crust is just right, however the sauce tastes more like tomato paste and it's just NOT CHEESY enough! The sausage is spicy, but greasy as ever. With a few adjustments this could be a lot better. I'm not so sure everyone will be hooked on it, especially if you know what 'good" pizza is and where to find it. Pros: good concept, good crust, fast service Cons: not cheesy enough, funky sauce, overly greasy more

GRRRRRRRRRREAT 12/24/2002

What a concept! Staff had a great attitude, pizza was super, the best I ever had. Bake it HOT and enjoy it when you want to eat. more

pizza soup 11/27/2002

This stuff is yucky. The crust claims to cook up nice in your oven. Errrnnn!!! Not! Even with the little sheet underneath the "ready-for-the-oven" pizza it still comes out like your average Chef-boy-rd pizza mix. You can't simulate a pizza oven at home (unless you have one). Besides that, they put on way too much sauce. We're talkin' soup! Icky... Pros: friendly people Cons: yucky food more

MAMA MIA LOVES PAPA MURPHY 11/27/2002

The best pizza that I have ever had 11/6/2002

This is the best take out pizza that I have ever had. Most of the others that I have gotten pizza from other places the ingredients are skimpy or extra greasy. Not with Papa Murphy's. They give you lots of fresh toppings and they have different sizes of Pizza's then the other take out places more

take it and bake it 11/5/2002

The food is pretty good. Watch out for people who are new at working in the resteraunt, they can be pretty dumb more

Who is fooling Who ? 11/1/2002

Nice Idea but it doesn't work. Allot of it is in the oven and you don't have one at home. It tastes like you made it from home, except it costs you more. Also the sauce and toppings are just OK. When you have to measure with cups to add the toppings tells me there just one in a long line of industry manufactures. Pros: Convience Cons: Bad Sauce, ingredients average, No Value more

THE VERY BEST 10/25/2002

The VERY BEST of ALL pizzas anywhere. Excellent crispy crust, flavorful sauce, lots and lots of cheese, lots of topping. EXCELLENT On top of it all, good price too. more

Huh? 10/17/2002

Why is a take and bake pizza joint even mentioned in this section? The pizza is average at best...lots of ingredients but sauce and crust are not any thing to write home about....which is where YOU cook and eat the darned thing. The best pizza in my neck of the woods goes hands down to Maggio's(Savage). They might not have in house dining but there home made dough and sauce and tasty ingredients definately blow any of the franchise joints out of the water. Gosh...now I'm really hungry. Pros: fast Cons: they don't cook it more

best taste for the buck 9/23/2002

I like using Papa Murphys pizza. I buy two and one goes in the frezzer of next week! I keeps my neighbor children happy during our weekly video night. more
