• Kudos to Jay Estrada and the team at Pan Am Automotive.\r \r In these difficult economic times we are all trying to do more with less. With high unemployment and rising everyday costs many of us are trying to eke out a few more miles from our vehicles. Many of us cannot afford another payment to make each month on a new car and we have to do what we have to do to get a few more miles out of our current vehicles to commute to work. Unfortunately vehicles start to break down after a time and we can’t afford to have costly repairs without taking out a loan or adding to our existing mountain of credit card debt. All we need is someone who understands our situation and is able to fix our vehicles so that we can get by another day, someone who is honest, knows his business and stands behind his work.\r \r I have had the good fortune of finding one of those unique breed of automotive men in Jay and his team at Pan Am automotive on Stahl Rd in San Antonio. Jay is honest, trust worthy and stands behind his work 100%. My experience with Jay and his team has been nothing but superior. I have referred friends and family to him and every one without exception has been pleased. They are honest, fair, considerate and trustworthy. Jay lets me know when jobs are absolutely necessary, or when I can get by without doing things (like struts). He doesnt recommend anything unless its truly necessary. As a female, I appreciate that he's not condescending but treats me with respect and honesty. more

We first took my car in May 2010, to have the A/C fixed, we are now in August 2010 and my A/C has not worked for more than a few days at a time....Jay Estrada (the Owner) is a complete money hungry jerk, the mechanic Andres Thompson, hit on me everytime I was there and flat out told me if he fixed my car correctly...he wouldnt get to see me anymore (he even offered to fix the car at his house). I have 3 children and live across town and the jerk had the nerve to tell me I needed to go and buy Freon....what? He kept the adaptors for my car, twice! BEWARE......TRY ROYS SHOP ON WETMORE....he is the opposite of Jay and Andres. more

Did not repair the vehicle as claimed for the work it was brought in for. Damaged the vehicle while they had posession of it and refused to properly repair it. Pros: Counter Clerk appears to be polite, professional and manerly Cons: Owner just the opposite. Unprofessional and unwilling to work with you. more
