best prices around! 3/4/2008

It must depend on which agent you talk to because I've had nothing but positive results w/University travel. The prices for international travel can't be beat and I've never had any trouble with my agent, Sonali. She always calls back when she says and our email correspondence is prompt as well. I've used University Travel for years and definitely have no complaints. more

Frustration 2/15/2007

Communication was the biggest problem. Several times we were told a price only to have that price change. They made the mistake of booking our return flight two days earlier than we requested, When confronted with this they claimed that we were wrong and lying. After we produced the original itinerary they backed down, but demanded a $200 dollar fee for the change per ticket (12 tickets) for their mistake. What could we do? They had some of our money already. That amount magically grew to $225 per ticket (see first sentence). Again we were accused of being liars. We contacted the airlines and the Attorney General's office, both encouraged us to file suit. Oh the $225 fee, $200 was the airlines fee the $25 was their fee. They actually made an additional $300 for their mistake. more

Overseas travel 11/5/2006

I have been working with University travel for last four years for overseas trips. They offered so far the best value for the money. One thing they can improve on is returning phone calls. Pros: Value pricing Cons: Call return more

Terrible Experience 2/5/2006

I had a budget of $2000 for 3 people and the only thing I heard was "you won't go anywhere with that". They were pushing for a cruise at $1200 a person. I really felt insulted and humiliated. I went to another agency who got us a terrific 1 week vacation in San Diego for a total of $1800 air, hotel and car included. Pros: none Cons: Expensive, Not Courteous, Don't listen more
