Really Impressed 3/10/2011

Dr Brown was easy to talk to, he took time to listen to me, really listen to me, not treat me like an idiot. I have seen a few neurologists and Dr.Brown is the best. I felt comfortable and all of my questions were answered. I feel that Dr.Brown is proactive and caring. He is also extremely knowledgeable, no BS. more

Too busy to listen 2/26/2010

Went here for a second opinion when Dr. Brett said I needed surgery. Dr. Brown agreed after expensive and painful testing. Saw another surgeon who listened and fixed me with a shot and a course of prednisone. I'm fine and its been a year. Pros: Nice enough Cons: Didn't listen, diagnosed wrong problem more

Go see Dr. Ginocchio!!! 2/25/2009

My first word walking out of his office was ""Wow."" I just said it aloud about 5 seconds ago. Dr. Ginocchio is the most impressive physician I have ever seen. He is ridiculously thorough, kind, and seems highly intelligent, even for a Dookie (Duke fellowship). Hands down, this guy knows his stuff, I'll put the weight of my nursing licenses behind that statement -- OR #200640271RN & CA#741300. \r \r I'd send my mom to him in a heartbeat. Pros: Everything Cons: He went to Duke more

Outstanding Neurologist 11/26/2007

I went to Dr. Brown for help with migraines after seeing several other doctors who were unhelpful. I found him to be a great listener, an unconventional problem solver, and open to all sorts of ideas that might help me. He was very personable, and patiently explained everything to me. My experience with him was the most positive that I have ever had with any doctor. Pros: good problem solver and good bedside manner Cons: parking is hard to find sometimes more

Do not go to him 3/13/2007

He gave me an EMG test and it was very painful when it was over he stated I needed surgery. I asked if it was a good idea to wait a month and have another test to see if my pinched nerve was getting better. He stated no I needed surgery as soon as possible. My insurance wanted a second a pinion and when I went to that doctor. He stated Doctor Browns report said that he recommended I have a second EMG in a month. That is not what he told me and so I am now looking for new doctor to do the test. more

Couldn't figure it out 2/11/2006

Just ordered lots of tests and didn't fix the problem. Found out was wrong with another neurologist right away and didn't have to have surgery which Dr. Brown said I needed. I also waited a long time to see him and he barely spent any time with me. more
