The place is not bad but it is certainly not luxury. The main problem seems to be management. Do not bother talking to one of them; Sam is arrogant, rude and inflexible....\r It is hard not to listen to tenants dissatisfaction with the services (specially the ones that take care of the pool). Complaints seemed ignored by management (since that is where the arrogance is). To keep up the somewhat positive reputation of this Apt. complex bring people that know how to provide services, it will go a long way! more

Great Location ! Terrible Management........ \r \r Below is what I noted on the move in paperwork. Apartment 215 \r \r Master bedroom Toilet wobbles \r Carpet seriously lifting at entry to bathroom. \r Big gap for bugs. \r Electrical outlet lose & cracked \r \r Carpet lifting throughout apt. \r Scuffs & scratches on Pergo \r Hall bathroom doesn't close/lock Ice maker not working \r Dented fridge \r Cracked / broken kitchen drawer \r \r Under threshold front door - gap needs caulking Roaches (baby ones), ants traveling in master bathroom from area with lifted carpet to broken toilet... \r \r Bugs, bugs, bugs ... Bug poop found in corners. \r \r They never fixed a thing, wait, they did fix the lock on the hall bathroom............. Then they charged for paint and cleaning when I left. Really? There for 3 months and the paint was damaged???? No doubt there wasn't any painting or cleaning done to the place. Just a way to keep our money. \r \r I contacted the manager who said she would get an adjustment but never spoke with me again............not worth the hassle when dealing with the loss of a loved one. \r \r Great location, beautiful area,,,,, just have to live with lifting carpet, wobbly toilets and bugs bugs bugs.......... more

Great location, terrible experience. Management here is horrible. For the ear that I lived there I had to continuously call in about the leaking roof that was damaging the wall. In that year, I called three times and it was NEVER fixed. When I moved out, I was charge for the repairs of the paint for that wall! It is shocking that they felt they had the right to do that when the damage had been reported for a whole year with no resolution. The gate rarely works so if you're looking for a gated community...keep looking. There is an over all run-down feeling to the place and the staff is not helpful.\r \r All in all I'm very disappointed with my experience there. Not worth the convenience of the location. I do NOT recommend this place. more

Mira Vista provides a clean, safe and affordable apartment complex with stunning views and they even accept large breed dogs in a dog ""unfriendly"" Alamo city. The office staff is excellent and any problems you may have with your apartment are quickly resolved by the maintenance staff. TWO THUMBS UP to all all the people at Mira Vista. This Apartment was the highlight of my experience in San Antonio. Pros: Great Views more

i really wouldnt recommend moving in to these appartments there is a reason they only have two stars. the staff is horrible and so is everything about these appartments. minus the location! just seriously think about it because your going to get screwed! more

We are twelve residents at Mira Vista Apartments. Eight of us do not own dogs or other pets. Four of us have dogs of various sizes. By most standards, this is a well-managed property. But, Management is not doing enough consistently to correct a serious health problem at Mira Vista. Put simply, there is a serious problem with dogs? feces behind buildings 16, 17 and to the left of building 18. We also have seen the same problem surfacing at other points on the property. But given the beautiful scenic views and large plot of land behind buildings 16, 17 and 18, many people bring their dogs to the area for relief. All too many dog owners do not pick up the waste even though doggie bags are two feet away. And they do not adhere to Mira Vista?s rules and policy because they know or sense that Mira Vista Management cannot monitor the area 24/7 because management will not hire enough grounds personnel, and management will not fine violators or send specific warnings to violators. Perhaps, the most egregious offense is this: management rarely orders grounds personnel to pick up the dogs? waste daily, weekly or monthly. We rarely see anyone picking up the waste. The company has refused to install relatively inexpensive cameras to catch the violators. Without doubt, many of us would not have signed leases if we had known that the ?beautiful views, green hillside and lush lawns? near these three buildings in particular would be constantly polluted with foul and unsightly dogs? feces. So, if you need fertilizer visit Mira Vista Apartments in San Antonio. There is plenty on the back nine. more
