I just recently went prom dress shopping, being 18 and I am paying for half of my dress seems like i should be able to do that without a parent. I go into Mia's expecting to be able to AT LEAST try on a dress, but unfortunatly no (company policy?) i need a parent for a prom dress. So not only could i not try on a prom dress , i was unable to buy one or even take a picture. The picture I can understand but for me to nee a parent to even see if I would like the dress seemed a little unreal. I dont understand why I continue to try this store this is the third time I have stepped foot in there and i have been dissapointed. About a few year's back a friend and I went in because we liked the outfit in the window wanted to check the store out after passing it so many times, and as were looking threw clothing, we are spoken to as if we dont belong, like we couldent ""affored"" what they sell. And when i say this i quote "" why dont you check out king of jeans, they might have something more reasonable"" . I dont understand you dont know me , dont ever judge a book by its cover and i would think turning buisness away is a bad thing ? but that would just be my opinion. And as for the prom dress I even attempted to check out the store last year, its just the same everytime. Mia herself in my opinion is a stuck up snob and many people are beneath her , so she thinks.\r

FYI i bought my prom dress last year and this year from the shoe barral. much nicer service and no unreasonable rules.
