Best

When I go out to eat, I expect to pay a lot for my meal. I also expect to get a lot of food for that money. I'm a bit of a foodie and only want the best. Well, this place did deli...

Worst

What seemed to be an upscale, fancy steakhouse, turned out disappointing. The kitchen at Fleming's is exposed to the guests. After 15min, I wished I wasn't sitting "in the kitchen...

Very Personable! 11/26/2006

When you walk in, they pull you up on the computer, know you've dined with them and ask if you'd like your favorite waiter, plus the cold fork with the salads is a great touch. The food last night was awesome! Steaks cooked a perfect medium rare as requested. The special flounder entree with jumbo lump crab meat and baby asparagus was awesome! Great Service also! Pros: Food, staff, service, wine list more

best steakhouse in the country. 11/13/2006

flemings has a mouth watering array of entree items and personable service that can't be beat. its perfect for a romantic dinner with a loved one or a business meeting with colleages. they have an expansive wine list and delishous a la carte menu items. very pricey though. more

Hands Down...Best Steak in Town 10/25/2006

Fleming's is probably my favorite restaurant in the Nashville area. The steaks are always perfection, and the atmosphere and service is second to none. In addition to having the best steak in town (sorry Ruth's Chris - you're a close second), their extensive wine list offers many choices to pair with your meal. The relaxed atmosphere makes Fleming's a great spot for a weekend date or an after-work coctail. I can't say enough about how great this place is....in fact, I'm making a reservation for tonight! more

Very Good Steak 10/17/2006

Flemings is a gem in the Newport Beach area located next to Roy's at Fashion Island. This steak house is on par with Morton's and other note worthy steak houses. A little OC secret is visit Fleming's on Sunday for brunch and you get a $25 special prime rib dinner or steak with a salad, bread, and a side (side is a huge portion), plus dessert. Normally this would run you about $55 + each. Pros: Good Food, a bargin on Sundays. Cons: Long waits without reservation. more

Best steakhouse in all of Phoenix! 9/10/2006

If youre in the mood for a great steak and everything that goes along with it Fleming's in Scottsdale is the place for you. Not only is the food top notch so is the service. But lets start with the food. Without a doubt the steaks offered at Fleming's are more than just a cut above the rest they are truly in a class by themselves. You can have it prepared anyway you like. If youre not sure how you want it done the servers are more than willing to recommend the best way to cook your steak based on what your desires are. And they don't just stop there. They will suggest a side dish that will not only compliment your cooking choice, but add flavor to your entire meal. And of course every great meal is made more so by a great bottle of wine. If you have no idea what to order don't worry the servers will recommend the perfect choice for your pallet. Oh and lets not forget dessert. Make sure you round the night with a sweet treat that will leave you smiling and very satisfied. Everything about Fleming's at Scottsdale is excellent; from the servers to the food and everything in between. From the moment you walk into Fleming's you know youre in for fantastic meal and a great night out. So whether youre just visiting the Phoenix area or a life long resident make a night out at Fleming's in Scottsdale a must to do on your list. Trust me, you will be very satisfied! Pros: Ambience, steak choice, service more

Awesome food & service - Best Prime Beef in Phoenix! 9/9/2006

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar consistantly delivers awesome prime beef & seafood in a warm inviting atmosphere. The staff is very knowledgeble about thier extensive 100 wines by the glass list and make even the average novice feel comfortable experimenting with with wine. The wine flights are a definate WOW factor even for a novice like me who enjoys experimenting with wine and food pairings. My company hosted a private party in the beautiful private room hidden towards the back of the restaurant. What a great experience! The rooms were perfect for our large group and the staff provided VIP service. TWO THUMBS UP! I highly recommend Fleming's on Scottsdale/Lincoln for a date night or a corporate dinner of 75. Leigh Watkins of Scottsdale Pros: Extensive, yet easy to follow wine selection - tender steaks everytime! more

Always a Great Night Out 9/7/2006

As someone who entertains quite a bit it's always nice to have a place you can count on. I have been using Fleming's on Scottsdale Rd. for business & personal dinners. The bar staff is always friendly & I love all the great wine selections. My favorite steak the Bone in Ribeye is always cooked to perfection & I love their mushrooms & the delicious Mac & cheese. The servers their are friendly & knowledgeable. Not stuffy like other steakhouses. This place is the real deal & I highly recommend it. more

BEST STEAKS IN THE VALLEY 9/6/2006

I BROUGHT A DATE HERE THE OTHER NIGHT AND HAD ONE OF THE BEST MEALS EVER. WE STARTED WITH A CHILLED SHELLFISH TOWER OF LOBSTER, CRAB CLAWS AND SHRIMP THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. THE STEAKS WERE PRIME AND BROILED TO PERFECTION AND THE SCALLOPED POTATOES WERE SOMETHING THAT YOU CERTAINLY COULD NOT MAKE AT HOME. OUR SERVER, BRUCE, WAS ATTENTIVE, FRIENDLY AND CLEARLY A SEASONED PROFESSIONAL THAT KNEW HIS WAY AROUND THE THE WINE LIST AS EASILY AS HE ANTICIPATED OUR EVERY NEED. HIS RECOMMENDATION OF A KEY LIME PIE FOR DESSERT WAS AS FLAWLESS AS THE BALANCE OF SWEET AND TART OF THIS INCREDIBLE PIECE OF PERFECTION. I HAVE FOUND MANY OF THE STEAKHOUSES IN THE VALLEY TO BE STUFFY AND JUST A LITTLE PRETENTIOUS, SOME PEOPLE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A LOUD RESTAURANT, I FOUND THE ROOM TO HAVE AN EXCITING VERVE THAT BROUGHT A WONDERFUL VITALITY AND VIVACITY TO THE STEAKHOUSE SCENE. I WILL BE A REGULAR !!!!! more

Always a great dining experience 9/6/2006

I have recently moved into Scottsdale and was thrilled to find the Fleming's Steakhouse off Scottsdale and Lincoln. I have upon traveling to southern California had the pleasure of dining at another location several times. I absolutely loved it! The other night I had dinner with a friend at this location. I was thrilled with the consistency of the two restaurants. As before, the atmosphere was fun and lively. The service was all around top notch, professional but not stuffy. The food... well if you have not eaten there you are surely missing out. The steaks are flavorful and tender. The seafood every bit as delicious as the steaks (especially the tuna mignon). I haven't had a side yet I didn't love. The volcano cake I've had a few times in both locations and it is by far the best desert I have ever had! I have to admit I don't expect this much from a chain. Somebody's doing something right. Now that I live so close to Fleming's they can count on my business. more

Consistent quality in a nice atmosphere 9/6/2006

I've eaten 5 or 6 meals at Flemings. Twice in Austin and a few times in Baltimore. Although I prefer to support local Austin businesses, I must say that Flemings consistently serves a memorable meal. I really prefer it to Sullivans for steaks. Sullivans steaks seem dry to me, whereas Flemings are served sizzling hot and juicy and perfectly prepared. Our most recent visit, I had the spinach salad which was so good that it could have been my main course. My husband had the wedge. We shared the delicious Flemings potatoes and key lime pie. Our server was attentive and knowledgable... Our wine was reasonably priced and delicious. It was packed at 9:30 on a Wed. and I can see why! Pros: Great steaks, knowledgable waitstaff, Flemings potatoes Cons: A little pricey (but worth it) more

Real OC Flavor 8/29/2006

Flemings is one of OC's premier steak joints and offers the best local color this side of Peter Lugar's. The steaks are always perfectly cooked as good beef should be eaten rare or rare to medium at best otherwise save your money for a sub-prime cut of meat. The side dishes are always excellent too and I especially like the fact that you can buy fine quality wine by the glass and keep sampling different varieties throughout the meal. Also if you like to be entertained by the looks of those infamous OC girls on parade, you won't be disappointed! Pros: Atmosphere, great bar scene Cons: Long wait even with reservations more

DC RANCH FLEMINGS 8/25/2006

WHAT A GREAT PLACE! THE FOOD IS AMAZING, THE AREA IS HIP. I LOVED EVERYTHING I ORDERED. I SAW THE EXECUTIVE CHEF KEVIN HAGUE ON THE MORNING NEWS MAKING MAC AND CHEESE. MY FIRST THOUGHT...IT'S MAC AND CHEESE..HOW GOOD CAN IT BE. WELL LET ME TELL YOU THAT I CRAVE THAT MAC AND CHEESE. IT IS AS GOOD AS THEY SAID. I ALSO TRIED THE CREAMED CORN AND RIBEYE STEAK. ONE OF THE BEST MEALS I HAVE HAD. CHECK IT OUT...BE SURPRISED. Pros: MAC AND CHEESE more

DC Ranch is the place 8/22/2006

I love the DC Ranch Marketstreet area. My husband and I went to Fleming's in DC Ranch last night and had the most amazing time. Our server Javier (he looks like Al Pacino) was amazing. He suggested the wine and food and we took all of his reccomendations! They have tons of wine by the glass and by the bottle. Everyone was so friendly and nice. The manager, Kate, came by to say hello and we got to talking about Napa Valley. She was so informative and sweet. We go out to dinner a lot and this rates as number one for us. I love the way were treated here. We will definatly be back! I loved everything, espcially the Lava Cake! I can't wait to go back! Pros: Great food and even better location Cons: Parking, but they have complimentery valet more

Best Steakhouse in North Scottsdale 8/22/2006

The DC Ranch location is absolutely gorgeous. I was there last night and Jason Evans was the BEST! ...the petite filet was amazing!! Service was outstanding and the staff was very knowledgable. We were shocked when we found out that they offer 100 wines by the glass . . . my husband and I love steak and are big wine drinkers . . . this is our new favorite steakhouse AND wine bar!! I would defintely recommend this restaurant as the best steakhouse in North Scottsdale!! Pros: Service, Value, Food more

Never disappoints 8/22/2006

Once again Flemings Steakhouse exceeded all my expectations. I frequent all three Fleming's in the valley and never have a bad experience. The patio at the DC Ranch location is fantastic, with the beautiful view of the city and the ambiance at the Lincoln location is equally pleasing. I love celebrating all my special occasions at Flemings. It's such a comfort knowing I can go to Fleming's and never worry about a thing. Pros: Complimentary valet, ambience, knowledgable staff more

DC Ranch,WOW 8/21/2006

My family dined at the DC Ranch location last night! Jason was the best server we've ever had! The new baked brie was wonderful. Row Eleven pinot is my wifes new favorite. DC Ranch Marketplace is quite the place!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: Value for high end place & extensive wine list Cons: make reservations early more

third times a charm 8/8/2006

I ordered the ribeye medium. It came out RAW! It ended up taking 2 tries until it was actually medium. I was irritated that a place like Flemings would send out a medium steak RAW. ...but the manager did apologize and comp our dessert and coffee. Pros: yummy side dishes... good service & ambience Cons: they should know how to cook their steaks more

Excellent Experience 7/31/2006

Never disappointed by Fleming's... the steak is fabulous, the ambience pleasant, the wine selection devine... service excellent... Holly is an attentive server without being too intrusive... all and all a wonderful experience, nice location next to Border's and the park... can't ask for anything more! Pros: Steak, Service, Ambience Cons: parking more

Excellent Anniversary Spot 7/29/2006

It was our 2 month wedding anniversary. I was coming off a 10 day stretch of 14 hour shifts. We were ready to have some fun!! The hostess and server were great. Our server suggested a marvolous wine and dinners. It was romantic and we loved it! They even brought us a wonderful chocolate lava cake for dessert. We will definitely go back. It wasn't cheap but it was worth every cent. more

Great birthday dinner 7/13/2006

We went here for my husband's 32nd birthday. As steakhouse lovers (and Palm/S&W/Capital Grille loyalists from our East Coast years) we were a bit skeptical, but Flemings definitely overdelivered. The service was gracious, and we were seated at a great table despite calling 30 minutes ahead of our arrival on a busy Friday night. The steak might just be the best he's ever eaten, and my salmon entree with bordeaux butter sauce was to die for. Side entrees did not disappoint, and don't miss the turtle chocolate pie. Two thumbs up. Pros: energetic atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food Cons: none more
