This is not just a zoo, most people don't realize that. Yes, they have LOTS of varieties of animals, name one and it's likely they have it. But they also have an amplitheater that plays host to several concerts and an IMAX theater which shows both education IMAX movies and many of Hollywood's latest releases on the really big screen!
My personal favorites in the Zoo have to be the Gibbon exhibit and the aquarium. The Gibbons are very energetic and are often swinging around and playing. The new aquarium is massive. They have a few different tanks including sharks, and several hundred fish. There is also a "hands-on" area where you can feel some of the creatures.
Great for kids! I'm 20 and I still enjoy it!

I can't believe the reviews here, either. There are over 2000 animals, representing 500 species. These people who didn't see animals must be blind or just not sure what an animal looks like. The animals at Como are in small, concrete inclosures, unfit for living. It's cruel. During the winter, they keep the giraffe in a 10 by 10 pen - for months!! That's the reason you don't see African animals at the MN zoo. There, they do what is best for the animal. In other words, they care. And as far as the price is concerned, have you been to Sea World lately? It's like $80 per person!! $12 at the MN zoo is cheaper than most zoos - most decent zoos, that is.
Pros: Natural spaces for animals, huge variety, creative exhibits. Cheap

The Fair has everything and something for everyone. You can be cheap or spend lots. There's the free animal barns, shows and fireworks and theres rides, games and concerts. You pick! The key is to have fun and see everything you can. Last years big hits with my guys was the battlebot show, baby animals, kid farm exhibit, slide, & games. It's a tradition for a reason- TONS of fun :)

They have a conservatory that has a whole bunch of different kinds of plants from different places. Its a really neat place!

Minnesota Zoo is one of the best places entire family can enjoy and never get tired of it. I especially enjoy indoor exhibits. There is even an exhibit of nocturnal animals, so one can see them while they are active – Minnesota Zoo is the only place I’ve seen it so far. Definitely go - and come back again and again, one day is not enough to see everything.

Remember the good 'ole days when you could walk down the block to get the latest and greatest record? Well Cheapo tries to recreate that environment with their massive selection of cds, tapes, and vinyl, all at a very reasonable price. I was able to get two of my favorite compact discs for two dollars each, both in immaculate condition!

Midway Pro bowl is a good bowling alley. It has reasonable prices (for games and drinks) and a lot of lanes. They remodeled and put in new automatic scorers several years ago, so if you haven’t been there for a while it’s worth another shot. If you’re nearby and want to bowl, this is the place to go.
