Fancy, but Fair 2/11/2003

Flemings is the perfect place to go to impress a date. The service is impeccable, and they really try to pamper you, even going so far as to come scoop the breadcrumbs off the table periodically. The food was good, but not worth the price tag. Steaks were of very high quality, side dishes were average, and dessert was fair. With expensive side dishes comes the expectation of perfection, which was not the case at all. Pros: Ambiance, Wine Selection, Service Cons: Value for your buck more

I've eaten at Byrne's in Tampa and several Ruth's Chris. The wine list isn't much but the steak is definitely one of the top three, maybe the best I've ever had. Pros: steak, service, wine prices Cons: wine list, noisy more

Although the food was good I would NEVER describe such a noisy place as romantic. As a matter of fact even hearing my dinner partner's conversation was a strain. Service was OK - but no romantic kudos from this Valley Chick. There are much more romantic spots to dine in the Valley. more

Assembly hall but tasty 1/29/2003

The steaks are good and the decor is classy but dont try and have a romantic conversation with your "other". Tables are very close together and the servers have to talk loud to give you the nightly specials. Drink prices are high but Flemmings does their best to make you happy and visit them again. Very Good...almost 1/2/2003

I was with a party of ten. With that considered, I was somewhat disappointed in the service we received. For one, the waiter wanted us to order our entry with our salads. We didn't. One guest asked for rare ahi. The ahi must have been over a week old, it didn't have to be tasted because it stunk. It should have never left the kitchen, the second piece was worse than the first. I will admit however, the steaks and veal chops were very good. Perhaps a little more practice will make it better. I will give it another chance, next year. I recently dined at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar for a banquet function. I was very impressed with how great the service, food and wine list was. Our company had 40 plus people attend and everything was "Perfect". The staff was very friendly and the banquet manager was very helpful in picking out the different menu options. This is the finest steak house in town! I really enjoy the great wine list and the largest by the glass list I have ever seen. The steaks are the best tasting steaks I have ever eaten. The veggies are great also. more

Best Steak in Charm City 12/19/2002

Anyone who says Ruths Chris is the best hasn't been to Flemings. The afforementioned steak house is all hype. If you want to pay too much for an ok meal please keep singing RC's praises OR try Flemings for the best cuts, sides, service and prices. I will continue to go again and again. One thing---will someone tell the patrons that Juicy Couture sweats and football jerseys are NOT appropriate attire for dinner here! Overrated 12/10/2002

Attended a business dinner with about 12 guests; everyone was disappointed in the food. Steaks were overcooked; mine was so salty I couldn't eat most of it. The asparagus was so large it was woody.
