Kisma has got to be the best hair and spa place I have ever been to. They are really friendly people that make you feel like family while your there and when you leave. Their skin products from aveda are the best especially the full body exfoliator; leaves your skin feeling like its not even your own. I went and got my hair done and accented with a hint of red today by a stylist named Parris.He did the best job ever; he put the red just at the right spot to where I have flameage even if i don't style it. Never had someone be able to make me look good even when I didn't feel like doing it. When he was done doing by hair he talked and made me feel just like the red flame he made and I then had the attitude to match it and I worked this do all the out to the car and I'm still working it. So if you want to feel good about yourself and have the hair to match the awesome attitude they leave you with I strongly recommend checking out Kisma it's just like Damn more

And yes, Sage is an amazing stylist! \r As a long time user of AVEDA products I love finding AVEDA salons that truly carry out the AVEDA experience while continuing their commitment to the environment. Since AVEDA uses all plant and flower based products it always smells so incredible at their salons. You always want to bottle up the way it smells...and you can, sort of, by taking home one of their yummy candles. I like their Shampure candle because it smells just like my favorite shampoo! Speaking of shampoo...Sage and I discussed what I wanted to do with my hair and how she was going to help me achieve my look...and then treated me to a very luxurious scalp massage with my fave shampoo! It was fantastic! I wish I could have my hair washed and my scalp massaged EVERYDAY! \r Now, I have to say that it's not easy finding a stylist that works with thick, hard-to-control hair, but Sage did a wonderful job and I couldn't be happier. She really listened to my concerns and made my hair much more manageable. It's nice to know I can find a talented young stylist that is up to date in all the trendy AND traditional hair styles today. KISMA is that ever-elusive salon/spa that combines high end professional services with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. No snotty, pink-haired, fashionista types here, AMEN! From the front desk staff who greeted me warmly (offering wine, lemonade, herbal tea and appetizers) to the floating massage therapist who gave me a free hand massage while I waited (I guess this is their standard procedure? Not sure.)--the experience at this Aveda salon is centered on relaxation. The service was stellar--a long, luxurious scalp massage complete with relaxing oils and aromatics and products specifically chosen for my hair type replaced the run-of-the-mill shampoo experience I had been getting at my old salon. Sage, the stylist who cut my hair, was pleasant and accommodating and listened to what I WANTED instead of pushing me to change my style or do something I wasnt comfortable with. She actually took the time to teach me how to fix my hair at home and how to use products so I could recreate the look myself. Upon checking out, the front desk staff genuinely asked if I was happy with my service, and if my expectations had been met. My questioins about products were answered with detailed knowledge. Kisma is an awesome salon and spa. I have tried a lot of their services (hair, nails, massage, facials, waxing) and have never found a place with better service. The facials are without a doubt the best I've ever had in my life. I have never felt so relaxed and when I left there my skin had a glow that lasted for weeks. Their manicures and pedicures are to die for and the polish lasted longer than I thought possible. The staff is so professional, caring, and courteous and you can tell that everyone there really wants you to have the best possible experience. I recommend this place to all of my friends and family. This salon and spa was not intimidating for a man to come in and get taken care of. The staff was very nice and accomodating to my requests. It was my first manicure and I found it to be a very relaxing experience. My hands looked great afterwards and I will definitely come back in for another one. The services were wonderfull in the first couple of years. Now it is awfull. The front desk staff is rude and snotty. I dont want to spend my money when people are rude and down right ugly to the customers. I also waited for some time only to find out my stylist was never comming to work that day...What a waste of time. Good buisness do go down hill sometimes...What a shame. more
