At King, you get a whole lotta food for a few bucks. It's really popular among University of Portland students but is otherwise dominated by Spanish-speakers. The food is excellent; you can't go wrong with anything on the traditional Mexican menu. I like the tostadas and burritos best; they're enough for two meals. This is a little hole-in-the-wall place so don't expect a fine dining experience--the chairs are kinda uncomfortable and you do your own table bussing--but there's no better Mexican food in the area in my opinion.
