This motel is probably the smallest motel in town (definitely the smallest if you look at all the budget motels). The rooms are spacious and are pretty standard for a budget motel (TV, microwaves and mini-fridges). One nice feature in this motel is that all the rooms come with fans. This may not seem like a big deal but none of the other budget motels in the city have this. Be warned: this place does not look that great from the outside.

This is a very friendly budget motel in Astoria. This place almost always has no vacancy. The lobby is large and spacious. The manager is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area's attractions. The rooms are quite nice and spacious. They even have complimentary breakfast AND dinner (sometimes). A great place to stay, and it's very affordable when you accompare it to the other motels in town. Also, it's one of the few motels in town that accepts pets.

The cheese is thick and greasy and tough – yes, tough. It takes a lot of chewing to get one bite down. It comes in two types of crusts – opt for the thin crust as the pan style comes a little soggy.

This is a great cheap small Mexican restaurant. The inside can be best described as a school cafeteria. Seriously, no frills here. The Vegetarian burrito here is pretty good and the Vegetarian Quesadilla is outstanding. Avoid the dishes with black beans. The black beans do not have much flavor here. They also sell burgers and fries. The fries are excellent.

This motel is off of Vancouver Avenue. Chances are you will drive right past it as its sign is sometimes hidden by the trees on this patch of MLK Jr Blvd. Because its about 50 feet away from this busy street, the rooms are quiet and comfortable. This is a pretty standard budget motel. Some of the units have kitchens and some units have hot tubs.
In case you are wondering, MLK Jr Blvd used to be named Union Avenue. The street changed its name, but the motel didn't.

I do not recommend going to this dentist unless you are looking for a really cheap dentist. While the price of procedures are lower here, so too is the quality of care. My sisters have both complained of experiencing much discomfort. They both had cavities filled and one had a root canal. The dentist drilled the tooth five times in an attempt to find the root, but was unsuccessful and ultimately recommend my sister go to another dentist.

This dentist is fantastic. My brother had a root canal done here and he said he experienced very little discomfort during the entire procedure. The dentist chair you will be sitting in overlooks the Columbia River and the Washington Coast, offering you a fantastic view before the dentist walks in. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it.
