Service Mark Waldrop, the proprietor of Guitar Tex at 4211 McCullough, is good people. He is obviously someone who found something he loves to do and can make a living doing it. It appears that he would be just as pleased to talk to you about a guitar as he would be to sell you one. While he is quick to tell you he's "only" been repairing acoustic and electric guitars for six years he has to be baited to admit that his regular customers include local favorites like Charlie Robinson and Infidel's Michael Martin. The Goods The small shop's stock is more acoustics than electrics and only a handful of basses and amps can be displayed at a time. There are large index cards taped to the walls that give additional information about guitar makers and products but you'd be better off directing your questions to Mark if you really want the skinny.
