Groth Music has the best selection of sheet music for all levels. The store’s location isn’t wonderful. Customers are greeted at the door by a security guard, and word has it that the McDonald’s next door is the regular site of car theft. But the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and unlike many other local music stores, they keep a wide variety of sheet music in stock. I’m still pining for the former Schmitt’s in downtown Minneapolis, but this is a decent substitute. Just don’t go after dark.
