Flower Lady the

I am trying to impress this girl I met and arranged to have flowers delivered to her job in Seattle. I booked the order a week in advance and the order was not delivered. I called several times on the 14th and there was no answer. On the 15th, I managed to get through and the person who answered the phone said oh, we haven't even started. We're behind. She'll get them TOMORROW or the next day. Terrible experience. Use FTD. more

The selection is amazing, the help is wonderful, and the prices are comparable to that of grocery store prices. Even on a tight budget, $10, the ladies are able to whip up an amazing and unique arrangement. I have never left disappointed. The customer service is wonderful. The employees are warm and willing to give you great design ideas, or let the customer be the artist. I am 100 sure if I ever had problems with the flowers, all I would have to do is call, and the problem would be fixed ASAP. The Flower Lady is truly a Seattle treasure!! more

Sure the flowers look great at first, but even after their "helpful" tips, they died after two days. I've been to other shops before and followed the same suggestions, but the other flowers didn't die. Terribly disappointed and will go elsewhere. Not very high quality. more

I ordered the "White Garden" from the Seattle Flower Lady, the plants were dry and the leaves had brown tips on them when it arrived, and no spathiphyllum flowers at all! This was not at all what I expected based on the image and description on the website. I would never order again. more

I really wanted to like this shop, they are right down the street from our apartment and the staff was very nice and helpful. The problem is that I spent $50 on a bouquet of flowers that only lasted 1 day. I purchased the flowers Tuesday morning and by Wednesday afternoon all that was left were 2 daisies, everything else was wilted beyond saving. Even though I don't buy a lot of flowers I know that they should've lasted more then one day. Sorry Flower Lady, if i try it again and the flowers last better I'll revise this review. more

Because it's just down the street from my house, I really really wanted to love the flower lady but just this week I had two bad experiences that will now force me to patronize another flower shop. The first time I went in during the week and was really turned off by the selection. Most of the flowers seemed to be on their last days but sadly the prices didn't reflect that. I was desperate though so I paid $32 for a small bouquet of snap dragons. Later that same week I found myself in need of a housewarming gift and again visited the flower lady only be disappointed and also frustrated. The shop was busy (3-4 customers deep) and while I normally am patient especially when I could see there was only one staff to help, I quickly became frustrated when she was so very disorganized. She tried to deal with multiple customers at one time instead of finishing up efficiently with each one. As a result most of us were standing around waiting for the answer to a question, a receipt or to be helped in the first place. Total chaos. If the selection or price was better, I might consider giving this shop another try but unfortunately I'll have to find a new flower lady. more

This place has all the beautiful flowers that anyone can ask for. On top of being very reasonable in pricing, there are sometimes free flowers out by the curb that she doesn' t make use of. There are great bouquets and you can always surprise someone that you care about with a darling little bunch that she puts together. This is a nice little romantic alternative to the assembly line dozen red rose approach. more

this is one of the best stops that you could make on your way home! picking up a beautiful bouquet for your loved one is one of the sweetest gestures of love and will surely be appreciated. the woman who runs this shop is an angel and will help you to build the most beautiful bouquet she ever saw! its so much better to support locally owned little spots, and each night the flower lady has a bucket, or two outside with free flowers, that she can't sell the next day, but that are still beautiful! more

We have been going to the flower lady for 5 years now. Her shop makes beautiful bouquets on the spot for very fair prices. They also have a great selection of other small gifts and cards. We even ordered the flowers for our wedding through the shop, with wonderful results. The people there have been very helpful and friendly to us every time we visit. more

The Flower Lady is so wonderful. She's open some nights up until midnight! So, if you're running late or "forgot" something - you can be sure to not get into trouble when you arrive back at home with a beautiful flower bouquet! Great prices and excellent customer service! I will be sure to come here first from now on! more
