I crave this place! 2/25/2008

I love Firebowl. It's great value for the money. You have to keep in mind it's fast food Asian food but I think it's wonderful. The cashiers aren't overly friendly but you usually only have to deal with them for a few minutes. I usually get their veggie Spring Rolls and then make my own combination of: brown rice, soft tofu, thai veggie mix with the fire sauce. It's a large portion so usually I get to eat it in 2 different sittings. It's healthy and vegetarian friendly. I try to eat here once a week for lunch, it's great for fast food. Pros: Quick, healthy, wide selection Cons: unfriendly staff more

Trendy Asian Diner 11/21/2006

When i come to firebowl, I am reminded of Pei Wei (A lower end Chinese Restaurant). The restaurant has a trendy look to it on the inside and a nice patio to enjoy the food with the weather. The portions are a good size and come at a fair price. I did enjoy the Pad Thai here, but it was not as good as some of the other places I have had. I was slightly disappointed with the red curry dish I had because the spices overwhelmed what I wanted to taste the most.... The coconut red curry. The Singaporean curry noodles was rather bland to my taste. My coworkers seem to enjoy the crispy and sweet sesame chicken. Still... in the end we still come back here for the food... so they must be doing something right... right? more

Fire Botch 9/28/2004

This pan asian restaurant is sub par on many fronts, but most importantly among them is the food. Food is tasteless, overly goopy, sticky, and seasonless. Stay away from the Gen. Tso's Chicken: a gummy, sticky, tasteless mess! Do yourself a favor and have Rudy's BBQ instead, and save yourself for the GOOD chinese food at Pao's Mandarin House or at Tien Hong. Pros: Clean interior, good parking, outdoor seating Cons: , uninformed help more

Hrm... Not bad, not bad. 5/27/2004

Just moved here from Orlando. Pretty good selection of noodles. Good flavor. Nice and hot. Would eat there again. Vegi Egg Rolls tasted fresh, not cooked in old oil. I had the Chicken Ramen Lomain. I would say it was a BIT pricy for what you're getting, but good. Wife had the Salmon with Teriaki and liked it a lot. Pros: Hot, Fresh, Tasty, Nice free chopsticks, Good Soysauce Cons: , One 1 fish tank, No organic drinks more

China Bowl Delivers 12/6/2002

If you want a simple yet tasty chinese food experience then China Bowl (now Fire Bowl) is the way to go. Their menu offers a good variety. I recommend the Pan-Fried Dumplings for an appetizer and any rice bowl for entree. The rice is thick and sticky and perfect for chopsticks, the meat and vegetables are plump, fresh, and plentiful. The Velvet Corn (aka Egg Drop) soup is excellent as well. Get the free crab wantons and you are set. All that food for around 10 dollars. Great atmospehre as well. Pros: cheap, good food, good parking, seating, atmosphere Cons: not enough locations more

Like a bowl of worms.. 11/17/2002

I love Asian noodle dishes, tried just about every variety, from authentic asian cuisine to fusion gourmet. I was very excited when I found this place. .very short lived excitement. The dish was AWFUL. The noodles were like slimy earthworms just out of wet ground, and were covered with this gelatinous SOMETHING. I gagged down only 2 bites, had my husband try, and he spit it out. The shrimp tasted muddy and reminiscent of freezer burned (and poorly cooked). Husband only ate about 6 bites of his...the spices were overwhelming everything else. Will NOT go back. more

Great tasting food, fast chinese food 8/30/2002

This was one of my favorites, have yet to find out if they serve the same food since their name change to Fire Bowl. Good prices from $6-? more

great value 5/19/2002

China Bowl, now called Fire Bowl, is an excellent value. The food portions are so large, that I usually order soup (some of the best hot & sour in town) and split an entree with a guest. Otherwise, you have plenty for lunch the next day. The only thing on the menu I have not been pleased with is the lettuce wraps. They aren't nearly as good as PF Changs and served on damp Romaine lettuce that makes it difficult to eat without a fork and plenty of napkins. more
