Excalibur

This club is a hotspot for tourists, and ghosts. Although, you will probably see a lot more of the former than the latter. It was used as a morgue or hospital after a major boating accident once, or something. But anyway, it's a pretty big club with a not so cheap cover. It is connected to Vision nightclub right next door. Years ago before I was old enough to get in, Excalibur was a really hot spot for Chicagoans but most people living in the area have since moved on to newer places, leaving the tourists to hit it up because they don't know it's not the hottest thing anymore. This is a big club they have 3 floors. they have a restaurant, pool tables, oxygen bar and video games. They also have drinking and dancing,plenty of room for sitting and talking with friends also. the 1st & 2nd floor has dance floors and both offer a variety of music, for your dancing pleasure. parking is hard to find here,so we usually take a cab ride down there or you can park in a paid parking lot,or valet park you car. more

Excalibur was a hip, happening place when I was growing up. It was THE place to go. It has now become more of a tourist hot-spot who have heard of it from others. There are times on occasion where it is enticing to go, however, it seems to have lost its popular stage. At one time, it was one of the 'In Places' in the country. I used to run into NBA players and other professional athletes all the time in the past. It has a huge, and I mean huge, dancefloor and the size of the club is enormous. You can always be sure to see good-looking women in sexy clothes. The bars have a wide range of beverages to choose from. Foreign and domestic beers and a long list of mixed drinks to choose from. The atmosphere, although not what it once was, is still enjoyable. The best part is the location, in the heart of downtown Chicago. That more than anything is what makes it a tourist hot spot. more
