Dunkin' Donuts

So, I venture in to this Dunkin Donuts very often, at least three times a week. I've always enjoyed coming here! The girls behind the counter have always been pleasent and always have my order waiting and ready to go. Im not from Va, im originally from Fl and maybe it's me but everywhere I go in this state people are so rushed, and impatient. I understand when your running late it is awful to sit in line, but that's why they invented alarm clocks... wake up 15 min earlier than usual and you'll be fine! I've never had a doughnut past 2PM, every doughnt i've had has been soft and very fresh. Maybe the new owners can help some of the other issues... Yes the store could use a good wipe down! more

I visit this DD on occasion and it is always filthy. The tables are always sticky and unclean. I have had to use my own hand sanitizer to clean them. I was in there last week and what will be my last time I might add. I purchased a dozen doughnuts and half of them were stale. I took a few of them back up to the counter to show the clerk that they were basically hockey pucks. I was told thats how they are supposed to be because they have been on the shelf all morning. I asked to speak with management and i was told they were never there.... Hmmm Great way to run a business??? Secondly I purchased a couple of milks I consumed them in my vehicle as I was leaving. when i looked at the lable they had expired on sept. 12 2009 almost one week to the day I purchased them. I love DD.... But this one is rediculous I have no idea how they stay in business... anyway guess we will just enjoy Krispy Kreme from now on!!!\r \r Good luck Pros: air conditioned, and a trash can Cons: Dirty, terrible service, stale doughnuts more

Don't get me wrong I am a big Dunkin Donuts fan, originally being from New England where a DD is similar to a starbucks here in VA. This location on staples mill has continually been a dismal experience. I have continually ventured in, weekdays, weekends, odd hours, and am always dismayed at the appearance and lack of customer service. The store is always filthy, short staffed and not fully knowledgeable in this sort of business. I come from a restaurant background and ran a coffee/bagel shop in NH for 5 years, so I know what it takes, and unfortunately this Dunkin Donuts does not. From now on I'll have to venture to Panera, where coffee may not be as good but the customer service and cleanliness are more appealing. Pros: Good bagels and coffee Cons: slow service, dirty more
