Mechanics You Can Trust 4/14/2016

I went to Cutshaw Automotative because of Channel 6. I wanted a second opinion regarding some oil leaks that my car had according to my dealership. As I suspected, one of the oil leaks (the most expensive) was no leak at all. The folks at Cutshaw are honest, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, and do good work! I've recommended them to friends and I will be taking my car there from now on. more

End of month Inspection - DONE 4/14/2016

Had to borrow a friends truck following an accident, but the truck needed its annual inspection within a couple of days. Cutshaw Automotive got it done the same day I took it in! Great service!!! Friendly staff!!! more

Great mechanic!! Walked me through my repair when I had questions 1/1/2016

Had brake inspection done which led to unexpected repairs but all were justified and necessary. Glad they took the time to indirect everything well. When I had questions the mechanic that did the work was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great service and all repairs were done in a timely manner. more

Unethical behavior 12/16/2015

I have used Cutshaw in the past and have been very pleased but the last few times I have come by the quotes I have been given are unethical and absurd. I have found the exact part numbers on the quote and the dealer had almost had it for have the price and in some cases even less than that! I.e. intermediate shafts cost around $130-150 and Cutshaw quoted me $330! Tie rods are around $20-50 and Cutshaw quoted $70 for one! Trying to take advantage of people through up charging parts is bad character on a company. I wish I could say this was a one time deal but this is the 4th quote through myself and a friends car that this has happened. Sorry cutshaw but my business is going to have to go elsewhere. more
