My kids can spend hours in there and never want to leave. It's a great place to visit for adults and kids.

Miraculous Museum 8/21/2005

This museum is WONDERFUL! It provides a great hands-on learning environment and family learning is highly encouraged throughout the museum, so you can have fun playing with your kids while they learn. Children are encouraged to learn through play and experimentation. The have many terrific galleries, each of which engages the child's mind. Finally, the staff people, which are on the floor in nearly every exhibit, are great sources of information and exceedingly helpful. Pros: Very Inexpensive, Helpful Staff, Hands-on learning Cons: Not much for age 13+ more

GREAT for All Ages 10/14/2002

Children of all ages love the interactive exhibits. The price is great, really inexpensive. Maybe they could expand the facillity to have many more exhibits and performing arts activities. Pros: great exhibits, variety of exhibits, inexpensive more

Fun for toddlers 10/3/2002

The Children's Museum is a great place to spend some quality time with your little ones. My 2 year old had a great time. We will go back again. Additionally, the price of admission can't be beat. more

The ultimate day trip 8/17/2002

It doesn't get much better than this!!! 8/9/2002

When my family and I visited the Children's Museum of Houston, we were extremely impressed by the coexistence of so much fun and educational opportunities present. The staff made us feel as if we were truly welcome, and they made sure that we were having a good time. The museum was not only there to please the children, but it also brought out the child in the grownup visitors as well. I highly recommend the Children's Museum of Houston to all families across the globe! Pros: educational, lots of fun, great bargain Cons: crowded but exciting more

Interactive Fun 8/9/2002

This is a great place for a family outing. They have stuff for kids of all ages (yes Mom & Dad, you are included too!) And, unlike a normal quite, hands off museum, the kids can touch, create, and have a great time learning! This is a great place to encourage kids to have a ""life-long"" love of learning! more

very interactive 7/25/2002

Lots of neat interactive displays that are very interesting for kids to do with their hands. By the way I have been to the Children's Museum in Chicago at Navy Pier and it's not 1/2 as good as Houstons. My children can play for hours in the ""river courtyard"" learning about how water flows. There's really a lot of things to do for my 2 year old, 4 year old, as well as my 10 year old. The staff is very friendly and eager to help the kids. Lunch area is small, though. Pros: exhibits, staff, price Cons: food/meal space, could be cleaner more

Kids Paradise 7/21/2002

We went for the first time when my son was only 1. He had a blast and enjoyed all of the exhibits. The infant and toddler section is superb, we could have spent hours in just this area. All of the employees were extremely helpful and seemed to really enjoy the kids. We loved the science section and the grocery area; the only area needing some attention was the international area. As always the cost of food was a little high, so get a bite before going in. Pros: Educational, Interactive Cons: Crowded more

Best children's place in Houston 7/20/2002

This really is the best place. They continually update sections of the museum so children never get bored. They have hands on activites and learning! They even have a ""Tot Spot"" for children two filled with activites for them. It is a great place to go and beat the heat! It is expensive to go each time but the membership is well worth it and parking then only cost $1. more
