Chester's is the very best burger I have ever tasted. The buns, meat are the best flavored. Green chili's are the very best in flavor, wish I could copy that taste. Frys and onion rings are simply wonderful. Love the atmosphere!!! Absolutely the very best of everthing!!!!!!!!!! Pros: priced right, quick service, gr8 select of drinks more

Excellent burgers without the kiddie atmosphere of most burger joints. The sides come in monsterous proportions and are as equally as excellent as the burger itself. Chesters Burgers are as good as they get. Big and Juicy, and you gotta love the fresh poppy-seed buns. Word of warning... be sure and check your teeth before you leave. It's rather embarrasing when realize you've been trying to flash a sexy grin and have poppy's stuck in your teeth! The Big Screen TV is always on and they carry a gigantic selection of Beer. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere. more

How About ""Worst"" Both Sides of Pecos? 7/26/2002

Their ads on WOAI are a joke and a lie. We ate there a couple months months back and the meat was soft and mushy, the fries were cold and the rings were a greasy mess. (I will say the green chile was very good). Filled out ""suggestion card"" requesting a respose and got none. See ya... Pros: Green Chile Cons: Everything Else more

The burgers are tasty. The service is good. If you are looking for great tasting burger look no further. Chesters has the best tasting burger in San Antonio. The absoulte best home burger! 7/20/2002

Growing up on the Alabama Gulf Coast in the 50's, the atmosphere reminded me of that time. Casual, laid back and friendly. The hamburgers are are the best. Truely big, juicy and homemade. The oinion rings and french fries are great also. I have not tried anything else so far. Each time I visit San Antonio and am asked where I would like to eat, I reply Chester's. During my recent three week visit, I ate at Chester's four times. The figure can't handle many more than that. more
