JOB WELL DONE & AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE 12/19/2010

I was searching everywhere (phonebook & craiglist) for a good price to fix my car. With the holidays around I was on a tight budget. But I also wanted to make sure the job will be done right! Finally, I found carpro & decided to give them a call. They were very helpful & patient answering all my questions. I decided to give them a try...have no regrets at ALL! Service manager Herman was very helpful and funny! No one like's to get their car fixed $$$ but when you enter a business w/awesome personalities than it makes it a little easier. My car is running smooth! For that person who wrote that bad review man this ain't no daycare Man up & stop whining & crying! Would highly recommend this place! Thank's again! more

Service Beyond Expectation!!!! 12/9/2010

These guys are life savers!!! We were visiting San Antonio in June this past year when our car broke down. On Saturday morning we called a rental car company there and after much prodding they gave us the name of a company that they took their cars to for service. I called Car Pro and Herman said they were completely booked but that he would fit us in and get us back on the road!! Only problem was we needed to have the vehicle towed. He said they had a company that they had worked with and he would call them to see if they could come and pick the vehicle up and tow it to them. He called me back and told me a tow truck was on the way. The tow truck operator was the nicest person I have ever had to deal with in the towing industry!! He even told me he would bill Car Pro so that I could just make one payment for everything!! Herman from Car Pro called me to let me know my vehicle was there and to check back in about 2 hours. Completely Unsatisfied 11/11/2010

I read the reviews and was thinking, "Finally a place that I wont feel like I am getting jipped like I do at the dealer!!", but to no avail, everything has taken a turn for the worst. The worst being that the customer service is disgraceful. I called to talk to a service manager about a problem, and instead of transferring me to the right person, they sit on the phone trying to fix your problem with you knowing they can't do anything for you. But still they insist on "getting it fixed". I took my car in and left it for 5 days for them to do a timing belt and plugs and to diagnose a squeel up front. I dropped it off after hours and picked it up after-hours so I have yet to see a real person, but they assured me things would be taken care of. I was out of town in California Thursday-Tuesday and figured this would be the great time to get a big tune-up for my 1500 mile road trip to Ohio for Christmas. They called me on Monday and asked about a water pump and told me it would be another $3 more

CarPro the best! 5/24/2010

Herman and the CarPro folks have kept my old 92 Camry running great for over 10 years. Honest, dependable, and absolutely professionally capable, I recommend these guys to anyone who wants great maintenance at a fair price. more

Excellence at its best 12/11/2008

I had my engine blow in my car and I changed it to a newer engine that was not the exact engine that my car came with, following some guides for my car I swapped out the engine and all went well. I then did not have spark to the engine. I checked over everything (12 years of experience of working on cars) and everything checked out and could not find the problem, I then found myself with a lack of time. I called up a local shop (not Car Pro) and explained everything with detail and they said they could tackle it. \r \r I had the car towed to that location and they called me two hours later saying they could not take it on. I was shocked and told them thanks for wasting my time and the tow. I then had it towed from that shop to Car Pro.\r \r Let me tell you, these guys are incredible, I explained the whole situation and even added in that another shop wasted my time and money and Herman told me this car WILL NOT leave Car Pro unless it is running. love them! 6/22/2005

The only honest group of mechanics I've found in SA. They go the extra step to find out what the problem is, get the correct parts and make the repairs in a timely fashion. Ex: the side view mirror on my truck snapped off, it took them a day but they were able to find the right part, and fix it within 1 1/2 hours. Then two weeks later the rear view mirror fell off! I came in without an appt and they were able to fix it in 20 minutes for me. in my old Altima the mototr on the electric window died, the dealer said it would cost $500, Carpro charged $220. super guys. more
