I will do my best to keep this concise but, because my repeated requests to speak with a manager have gone unfulfilled, I have no other vehicle for venting my irritation and disappointment. It was because of the great customer service reviews I read about this place that had me calling for an appointment to have the "full bridal services" for me and my sisters. But before I even went through with my trial hair appt. I said, to a very rude receptionist, before we proceed I need to know if I'm able to schedule appointments for my 3 sisters as well, the morning of the wedding. I was told (again, very rudely) that appointments are not scheduled that far out but she would e-mail me a confirmation of the appointments. The experience was off-putting but I felt confident I would get the appointment. Overall, the hair style was mediocre but I thought my stylist listened and was prepared to make improvements the day of the wedding. About 3 weeks went by and I never heard from Bliss. I called and (after several times listening to the phone go unanswered) was told that there was an appointment for me, alone. I was irritated but thought this would be an easy fix. After 6 or so phone calls, voice mails left, repeated (failed) attempts to speak with a manager, I finally got appointments for the 4 of us. I never did hear back from a manager. I was also rudely told that another stylist would have to come in on her day off to accommodate me. Someone explain what “full bridal services” means, because I was under the impression that if you go in with enough notice, there should be plenty of availability. I won't go into all the details of my experience the morning of the wedding, but I will say that, once again, my hair was mediocre and only made pretty because of the large flowers in it. I could have done it myself for significantly less money. My sisters were not listened to. Their hair turned out “ok” but I’d like to do a side-by-side comparison with the photos they brought in...nothing like them. The one stylist also kept telling my sister how much hair she had and that this was going to take "forever." Sorry we bothered you. The last thing I'll say is how long it took. You'd think that women rushing to get to their "real" appointments would have taken less time. Before I sign off, I should say that I do take some of the responsibility for my crappy experience. My first appointment was in April, 5 months before the wedding. But I should have gone elsewhere as soon as I saw the level of customer service I was confronted with. For that, I accept full responsibility. I will never, ever go here again and will encourage all my friends to do the same. The basis of customer service should come from a mutual respect. I was treated as an inconvenience from the beginning and honestly, would like all my money back. Because I know that won't happen, this will have to do. I have never written on City Search before but again, it was the only way to get a manager to listen. If I were any other person, you would have ruined my wedding. But I didn’t let you. I just hope you don’t have the opportunity to ruin someone else’s.
