Ever had some real Bar-B-Que 8/4/2002

Bill millers is the place to eat when your stomach is craving a rich meal. This barbecue restaurant sure serves good bar-b-q if you know what I mean. From the finger licking ribs to the tender juisy brisket, they never lit you down. feel like eating light, don't worry cause they have their garden fresh salad with fresh hot baked potato. If not you can enjoy the fresh dessert. The spending so little for a good meal sure sounds good about now. I'll see you at Bill Millers. Pros: inexpensive, good food more

The band is out again 7/29/2002

Every Friday before the highschool games we get together to grab a quick meal before hauling the band out to the game. It wouldn't be a football Friday without stopping at Bills! Pros: Quick food, Delicious, Best tea in the world more

This is one of my fave cheap eats restaurants in San Antonio. I love everything about this restaurant. I dig on the hash browns, pinto beans, po boys, and fried chicken. Of course you must have a jalapeno on the side. Grab a slice of apple pie as well. more

Great food - great price 7/25/2002

I moved away from S.A. for a short time and the one thing I missed the most was Bill Miller's BBQ! I love the BBQ & fried chicken and I know that I will get the same quality & taste no matter which store I go to. Bill's is the best for drive-through, too. The lines are usually moving at a good pace, and whenever there is a slow-down, the employees let you know, then bring it out to you if you had to park on the side to wait. Well organized, always clean, friendly. GO, BILL!!!!! Pros: convenient location, consistent food, fast-friendly-precise Cons: not open late enough more

  • In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family-owned and operated business with 75 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, and surrounding areas.

    We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, ham, turkey, and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of bread and pies made fresh daily.
