I am very particular and like to understand what is wrong with my car or what they need to do to fix it. I hate it when mechanics talk down to young women when having car trouble like they are clueless. Their mechanics are very personable and can explain anything before they do it. more

This garage was in our neighborhood, we had to have major repairs on our car, front wheel, air conditioning, and radiator. This is a family owned business and they treat their customers like you are one of their family (even better). The service is guaranteed, and performed in a timely manner, they show you the used parts (if you want) and their prices are fair. I would recommend them anytime. more

Took my car to them right before our family went out of town at 4:30 pm just before closing. They had their mechanics stay late to fix our car and got us on the road for the holidays. No extra fees to have their employees stay late to help us out. They've made a new loyal customer and the waiting room and restrooms were the cleanest of any auto repair store I've ever been in. My experience with Alamo Garage was the worst I have ever encountered in my 30 yrs of being an auto owner. I originally took my car to them and asked them to check plugs, as I thought I needed a tune up. My car had been fluttering at a stop. They told me ?plugs looked fine? and ?there?s nothing wrong with your car?, and sold me some fuel cleaner. So I went about my business. The fluttering got worse and I called to see if they would look at it again, and was told to bring it by the next day. They gave me the brush off, never offered to take it for a drive while I was there, never offered to look under the hood or even listen to the engine. The problem persisted and in fact got worse. I placed several calls to them, they never answered the calls, and would not return a message I left for them. I located another mechanic and told him EXACTLY what I had told Will at Alamo. This guy had it figured out before he even drove or tested my car. It was fixed the same day. My car has no more
