I recently visited this hospital's ER and I got there with my 3 yr old daughter with a 101.5 temp and here left eye was severly swollen. She was triaged twice and both times her temp remained elevated. I got there at 7p.m. and by 1a.m. she still had not been seen. Me being a registered nurse myself became very upset. The main reason being the triage nurse put a hospital employees son in front of everyone else who had been waiting. I addressed my concerns with the ER supervisor and she was nice however nothing was resolved. So i ended up leaving AMA and took my daughter to Santa Rosa where she was immediately seen . My overall rating of other areas of the hospital is pretty good, but the emergency room definitely needs either more staff or more beds or both.
Cons: STAFF WAS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL EXCEPT FOR THE ER NURSING SUPERVISOR
