I moved into these ""apartments"" about three months with my wife and a good friend and knew from the get go that the place was b.s. Upon arrival we were advisede that although the AC unit needed a quick fix, it was being done that day. What the guy got there to do-not long after-we saw the rigged up machinery with more duct tape, spit and JB Weld than actual AC. But I had already signed the lease, so I was screwed!!! For those wh are still looking for a place, here's some input The Wood floors are just as fake as the rest, linoleum with wood collored wall paper or something of the sort. when you mop the floors the glue seaps thru. 1- THE Hood is a few blocks away, Prostitution, Drugs, Theft and Vandalism are common. Real Common 2-There is NO Maintenance. One guy to take care of ALL the Aprtments-i feel for him. 3- Pools close so often I feel stupind knowing how to swim 4-Security is NON Existent! the patrol car is parked around the place but in reality, the office is the only thing they actually watch for. 5-The building is not gated throughout, so when someone wants into your car, guess what. 6-One bedroom apartments are stocked with families of 6 or more. 7-Management is condescending, two faced and doesnt give a rat's ass about you. If something does gets fixed it's like Mcgyver came by with some duct tape to patch it for a week and keep you quiet.But again hard to maintain a place with ONE GUy. 8-The parking lot to and from the back of the building is a DEATH TRAP! there is a one way street drive in this building which is not marked or mirrored. People fly through here without knowing what's coming round the corner or if its coming in the opposite direction. 9-You will end up paying for every last key, gate opener, pool accesss, etc, etc... 10- Forget a Dish, comcast or anything ressembling a working provider for cable and internet. the building folks are so stupid that when they lay rug to replace the old stuff, they drive the staples through the cable lines. besides the fact the building tried to rope you into service through their contact who charges more! 11-Gangbangers are seen daily sitting out front of the 1st building on the right after you enter the complex. 12-You will always see a line getting in or out of the gate since apparently when you register 6 people and three cars to one apartment, they only ""give""you one gate pass. 13-With all the security, Deliveries or repos can be seen nightly. 14-If you havbe an emergency wait till tommorrow, cause nobody's coming at night, the answering service that tells you this will also informs you if it's serious call 911. 15 Random deposits are requested from you for everything from pool passes to antennaes. 16-Feral/Rabid Cats are everywhere in the back of the buildings near the trash. Foaming at the mouth ans all. 17-There are 7 different laundry rooms and NO Change Machines.
but no worries the staff will let you know that the change machine is there, you just didnt seeit???? 18-No water heater in the apartment means you share your hot and cold with the neighbors, bettter hhope nobody is doing dishes or cover what you don't want scalded whe the temp in the shower changes. 19-Drug dealers move in and out frequently. And let me say this; If you apply at my building with no discernable proof of income but a mouth full of gold, ears and chains full of diamonds, driving a BMW I may question wher the money comes from and turn you down.your last choice other than living in Mulford-AVOID THAT PLACE- 20-The interior is painted in Cheap. Okay colors but forget about keeping it clean, one swipe with plain water and the paint washes right the hell off. Well that covers about everything. When you meet these people and they show you the place, walk away or sign a short lease and keep looking. If you stay for good it muswt be out of desperation
