Ashley's 4/14/2006

I really like this Ann Arbor bar for beer and drinks, just not food. They have a HUGE selection of draft beers. It's a cool set up with high top tables and a juke-box. They also have booths if you wanted a more private setting. I have had a few bad food experiences here, but I'll be willing to try again. My suggestion is to stick with BAR food (burgers, etc) and don't order the specials. I had a HORRIBLE piece of salmon- won't be doing that again! The fries are good though. Cool staff. more

Absolutely Amazing Beer Selection 4/12/2006

With over 60 beers on tap and a long list of single-malt scotch, Ashley's is much more than a bar in a college town. Quite frankly, it's pretty unbelievable. I love the beer selection and the servers are all very knowledgeable about them. The menu really describes each one quite well. The atmosphere is great, with booths and a lot of woodwork. They have a pretty nice jukebox. Only complaint would be that it can get pretty smokey due to its small size. The stilton fries are fantastic. And the bay chowder soup is might tasty. more

Good food. Good drinks. 8/19/2005

Ashley's Restaurant is a great local bar/restaurant where you are sure to have a good time. The huge beer and wine selection is incredible. I recommend ordering the wine or beer samplers. This gives you 6-8 different wines to sample as well as a nice buzz. The food at Ashley's is also very good. I recommend the french fries. more

Lots of Beer Choices 8/12/2005

Amongst many of the grad students, Ashley's is known more as a place to hang out and unwind and grab a good beer. With a beer menu that is significantly larger than the food menu, Ashley's has every type of beer for the beer lover. If you're not into beer you should try the ciders as they have some fruity ones that are quite tasty. I haven't had much off the menu, so I can't tell you how that really is, but it's a nice place to just grab a long table and hang out with a bunch of people. Sometimes it's a bit crowded so it helps to get there early to get a good table. It has a jukebox as well, so there is always music playing. more

Kind of expensive 8/7/2005

Ashley’s has better burgers than any other spot, on or off campus. Their prices tend ot be a little bit higher than what a super-broke college student can affprd, but they really come through with the cheeseburgers! It’s worth it! Check out their beer selection, too, they are known for having the biggest tap selection in town. more

So good! So many beers! 8/3/2005

Ashley’s has 60 beers on tap! Here’s what you do, go there with your professor, since that seems to be where professors like to tale their students, and get yourself some wffle fries with melted stilton cheese on them, then get a nice imported stout form their awesomely-huge menu. You can’t go wrong with their selection. more
