This is an old-school locksmith. When you walk in, everything seems old fashioned and out of date, but it's actually a pretty cool place. They know their stuff too. I used to work downtown and would walk there to get keys made, etc. Staff was always friendly. Parking could be difficult if something was going on downtown or on a weekend, etc.

I love visiting this store, probably because my two favorite places are the kitchen and the garden!
Downtown Home and Garden offers high-quality products (for use indoor and outdoor), as well as plants, bulbs and even Zingerman's bread!
I especially love to visit during the holidays, because they have a great selection of boughs for homemade wreaths. I loved being able to add some juniper to my wreath- the berries look great and it smelled wonderful.

So my husband and I went to Best Buy the day after Thanksgiving. We knew it was going to be crazy, but this was out of control. We waited in line for over an hour. The sales people "seemed" helpful at first. We had several people ask if they could help us. As soon as we asked them a simple question, "do you have this tv in stock", they said they would check the backroom and no one ever came back. We went to 3 different sales people and while waiting in line to check out, 20 minutes later a sales person returns to answer our question. I know that day must be terrible to work in retail, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't think I will be buying from Best Buy again.

There are two kinds of housing in Willowtree Apartment, garden styles and tower styles. The towers styles are cheaper, but you have to pay for the gas. The garden styles are better looking, and also it includes the gas. They changed a new manager this year, so they are innovating all the housings. The first two buildings of garden styles have internet, gas, electricity, cable TV included in rent. Also, they have new computer labs and game room this year. A nice new try if you are looking for housing in Ann Arbor.

I subscribe to the Ann Arbor News on Sunday only, just for the sale papers, coupons, fliers, etc.. But my service is wonderful. My paper is never late. They have called several times to offer me the paper for free during the week for a trial period but I turn them down because I usually read it online. I have the bill automatically taken out of my account and never have to think about it. Love this company.

This is a small vacuum store that has all your vacuum needs. They also do vacuum repair and sell parts, bags, vacuums and the like. They are kind of pricey, but it is worth it. Staff is friendly and they also have evening hours. Plenty of parking is available as well.

This is a Hallmark/Gift store that has some really cute things. On top of having tons of cards they also have house decorations and cute gifts to buy like candles, figurines, etc.. They have candy as well and the best part of this store is that they have a U.S. Post Office station in the store itself. Makes it very convenient for shopping and shipping. Easy parking.

It's a small hole-in-the-wall on William Street, but it's where i got most of my coursepacks when i was a student. copies are $.04 per black-and-white copy, so it's very affordable compared to Kinko's. Not a fan of how it smells in there, but otherwise, it's a good place to check out if you have a lot of copies to be made.

I just got my 4th tattoo done here and i loved it. the staff was experienced, professional and i felt comfortable. price was reasonable for the size of the tattoo and they take walk-ins if they have time. lots of art to choose from in books, etc. and they will design for you if you wish. appointment recommended.
