University of Michigan Credit Union is a must for people living in Ann Arbor, especially for those who go to school there. It is totally free to open and have a checking or saving account there. Their saving accounts often offer much higher interest rates compared to other banks. During the summer, you can buy tickets to Cedar Points through them. Also, they have a message board that you can post ads ( we sold our TV through that system).

I was very impressed with Triad Mortgage. I spoke with a woman in the mortgage department who was especially helpful and very friendly on the phone. I ended up backing out of my loan, due to other reasons, but if I were to purchase a home, I would definately use them.

Unfortunately for some, when a tenant signs a lease, there are some obligations that flow from that contract under Michigan law. It is no more "slimy and crooked" to represent a landlord than it is to represent a tenant in these disputes. Marian F.

Pat has done a great job with my home and auto insurance. He really knows his stuff and is able to explain it in terms that regular people can understand. He is always there when i have questions about my rate, or when i call for a claim, etc. I have bad experiences with insurance companies in the past- i always felt like a number, not like a client. With Pat i feel like he truly values my continued business and would do anything he can to keep his clients happy. He does over the phone quotes, so maybe he could give you a better rate than what you have right now! Give him a call!

this is a great financial company. I have my sons college fund through them as well as my husbands !RA. My advisor, Mike Ratioula is very knowledgable and friendly. He has taken many hours out of his busy day to explain things to me when I am unsure of things (which when it comes to finances, stocks, etc.. is often. I would recommend doing business with them any day.

This is the bank that I've been using for years. The staff is very nice and usually always call you by first name (makes you feel wanted and welcomed). They have many locations in my area for easy access to ATM's. I also use their online website to check all my banking needs and it is very helpful.

Its difficult to find a quality selection of foreign books in your average bookstore (that is, if you want something other than a dictionary), but this place has a great selection. Since it's relatively small (but really quaint and nice), you're not going to find everything you might want, but the staff is extremely willing to help you find it.
