I've only been to Blimpy Burger once. I'm glad I went but not sure I'd go again. Of course, everyone loves the polar bears in the winter, so be sure to drive by frequently. The food was good but super greasy and it can be confusing to place your order. The staff are also not afraid to yell at you for not following the seemingly arcane rules (such as you have to get a tray).
I think their own motto sums it up nicely: Cheaper than food.

Old Town is a nice place to come for lunch. I really like the atmosphere - authentically old with brick and wood. All the sandwiches are good - especially the tuna salad. The fries are quite tasty and my husband is a huge fan of the club sandwich. The wait staff is always nice and attentive.
My only real complaint is that it can get quite smoky in here and due to the small size, the smoke gets overwhelming pretty quickly. At lunchtime the smoking usually isn't too much of a problem.

Red Hawk is an Ann Arbor classic. The sandwiches are always good, as is the rest of the food. The decor is a nice mix of brick and wood and has a slightly upscale yet feel. They have a good selection of beers (if I remember right). This is a nice place to meet 1-2 friends, but if you have a large group, they don't really have tables big enough to accommodate you, although they will try. Overall, you can't go wrong with Red Hawk.

Weaver Street Market is a Carrboro institution for good reason. They do a lot for the community and I think most of it quite positive. The grocery selection is pretty good, but they don't have the low prices you can find other places. Sometimes I don't mind, other times it bugs me. I also wish they did a member dividend instead of the seemingly random 5% off certain items.
The staff is always very friendly and knowledgable.

We lived at Regent's Park for two years. We enjoyed the location for the metro access. My husband worked in Fairfax, so his commute was not so bad and I took Metro into Ballston - very convenient. It's difficult to get anywhere from here on weeknights, however, because 66 is always so backed up. There's not a convenient Target or other big box stores unless you go out to Fair Lakes, and that's a nightmare most of the time.
The complex is well maintained. We lived in one of the elevator buildings, and the elevator was sometimes out of service but they would come fix it pretty quickly. We enjoyed having a washer/dryer in our unit and the kitchen was very nice.
They take (or used to) pets up to 35 lbs. Our dog was closer to 45 lbs and they never said anything. The weightroom was nice but small. The rent was not unreasonable.

My husband and I lived at Notting Hill for about 2.5 years. We enjoyed living there. The rent was reasonable, but I hear it is on the rise. The tennis court and pool are nice. The workout room is only so-so. There are 2 treadmills and one seems to almost always be broken. They keep the grounds very clean (the maintenance staff goes around and picks up trash every morning). The office staff is nice and fairly competent. It is on the Chapel Hill busline which is very nice. It's also close to good grocery shopping - a nice Harris Teeter, Southern Season, Whole Foods, and Earth Fare all within 7-8 minutes. It's also very close to I-40, which is good for commuters.
The individual apartments are roomy with good storage space. There's a washer/dryer hookup, so buy your own and don't be sucked into the high monthly rental fee for renting a set. We were on the first floor and could hear our neighbors upstairs, but not the neighbors on the sides.

Breadmen's is one of the first places my husband and I went when we moved to Chapel Hill. We stumbled upon it by accident really. Since then, we've been back several times. The food is always good and the is nice. We've only been here for breakfast, but everything we've had has been good. I especially enjoy the pancakes. The prices are super low, so all the more reason to visit again.

My husband took me to Lantern for my birthday a few weeks ago, and I was really excited because I had heard good things. Unfortunately, I was let down. It's very small and they don't take reservations, so you have to show up early and hope for the best. Also, it is incredibly noisy in there. I think it is due to the high ceilings and it seems like they have tried to hang panels to soften the noise, but it's not working. The atmosphere would be really nice if they could do something about the noise.
All that aside, I was completely unimpressed by the food. The menu is extremely limited, so you'd think that what they do cook, they'd do a good job with. I had a special soup that was basically fancy, somewhat bland miso. I ordered the fried grouper and it was okay, but nothing extraordinary. Same with my husband's chicken entree. Overall, this place is not worth the expense.

I've been to Dale's Indian twice. The first time I thought it was only so-so. The second time I thought it was better. I went for the lunch buffet, and for the price, I think it's worth it. The food on the buffet was better than I remembered and of course, with a buffet, you can go back and get more of the thing you really liked - unlike with a meal where you are stuck with the one thing you ordered. I think the lunch buffet is $6.95; it might be $7.95.
Overall, I would say this is a pretty good place at lunchtime, and be sure to get the buffet.

Sitar India Palace is in a not-so-great location, but the food is quite tasty. We always get the buffet, so I've tried a lot of things. The Paneer is always good - sometimes mattar sometimes saag. They also do a good job with the eggplant dish that I won't even try to spell. Their naan is good and they offer a second bread that I thought was just undercooked naan but is actually something else and it is good as well. My husband enjoys the Chicken Tikka Masala.
They also have desserts - including rice pudding and they've recently added a caramel pudding. They also have the dough balls in the sauce (no idea what they are called - sorry!).
There can be a wait on the weekends, so come early or be ready to wait. My only complaint is that I think it is overpriced. The buffet is $13.95/person plus tax - not including any drinks. The atmosphere inside is nice, but the abandoned stripmall it's in leaves something to be desired.
