Sophie ~ had a bit of a set back these past few weeks we tried to ween off med's, and her little body didn't react well to it...With a few tests, many phone calls, I'm very happy to say we are now on the mend, and I say "WE" the AAAH also helps me get thru difficult times too... Sophie and I are truly blessed to have met such a wonderful Doctor, and has team of people that supports and cares about us...

This place is like a giant garage sale, but they have more home improvement stuff instead of decorative items. You can find appliances, door, sinks, tile, electronic equipment, furniture, household goods, sporting equipment, tools, project ideas...and the list goes on and on. You can drop your old stuff off and they sell it for you. What a concept! It's a tax deduction if you take your old junk there....and it might be someone else's treasure.

I went to this school for several years and loved it. The professors were great and actually cared about your grades and helping you, the class size was small, and the buildings are up to date and very clean. At 5:30 p.m., sometimes parking was a problem, but I always seemed to find a spot, just had to walk. I have even went back to WCC to take some fun classes and have enjoyed it very much. Great school.

I have shopped in this store for many years and have been grateful for the selection of Christian books and CDs. Lately, I have been concerned about the amount of other stuff being marketed in the store (what I call Jesus junk) and the fact that I have frequently not been able to find the most recent CDs there. Maybe that is because by the time i get there they are all sold out rather than that they were not ordered at all. I don't know.
The employees are very helpful and friendly and willing to special order anything that is not there.

Our family has attended CCBC since back in the 90's when it was Packard Road Baptist Church. On Sunday, the church has two services in English -- a traditional service at 9:30 AM and a contemporary service at 11:00 AM. (Warning: sometimes the contemporary service may sound a bit loud as the sanctuary was not designed for a contemporary sound but they're trying to fix that and may have by the time you read this.)
There is also an afternoon service in Japanese and an evening service in Spanish.
The Saturday evening service will be returning Beginning September 9 at 7 PM.
The people are friendly and welcoming and the preaching is biblical.

If you're planning to visit the library (sure to be popular after President Ford's death), be aware of a couple of things: 1) it is NOT right in the main part of the University of Michigan campus but rather is on the north campus and quite a distance from the main part (you must drive there), and 2) it is not the main museum (if you've visited other libraries, like Reagan of JFK where the library and museum are in one site, you'll be disappointed since the main museum site is in Grand Rapids). The library is small, but it is interesting. It has rotating exhibits, and the permanent collection offers a basic overview of Ford's life and legacy (of course there are interesting artifacts related to his football career at Univ. of Michigan). They do have frequent special events, lectures, etc., so it's worth checking out if anything special is happening and coordinating your visit that way. The library is free, and the staff is friendly and happy to answer questions.
