It's amazing to me that amy's ice cream was voted the best dessert. It's ice cream

New Combos are great! 8/21/2003

Just went to the Amy's Arboretum on Sunday and I love their new Combo Board! They give you ideas (updated weekly I guess) to mix ice cream and toppings and there is always some new flavor to try! The downsides are that the ambiance isn't very original -- hello, am I in Ben and Jerry's? Cow theme has been done. The price isa bit steep but hey, are you really gonna make homemade ice cream at home? And the theatrics could be kept to a minimum when I'm standing outside for 20 minutes waiting to get inside. It seems soooo slow all the time! Pros: Delicious Cons: Slow, Expensive more

Yummy! 4/10/2003

This is some of the best ice cream. Don't miss the Mexican Vanilla, truly devine! Pros: totally yummy Cons: a bit pricey more

We all scream for ice cream!!! 1/19/2003

This is probably one of my favorite places to go in Austin. I've grown up here, and my dad has always taken my brother and I to Amy's. Whenever we have family in town, we always make sure to go to Amy's. It's just one of those things that makes Austin... well Austin. Pros: Fun, wonderful staff more

YUH-MEE! 1/10/2003

Love this place! Ice cream is SO good and atmosphere is fun! more

a RefreshingTreat 12/5/2002

Amy's Ice Cream is the best ice cream in town bar-none. The quality of the ice cream is excellent and the staff always entertains with their unique way of serving the ice cream. Its a great place to catch some dessert. Pros: inexpensive, good parking, friendly staff more

Mmmmmmm...yummy :) 10/24/2002

Have always been an Amy's junkie and this year surprised my non-Austinite boyfriend one hot steamy Philadelphia summer's day with 3 pints of Amy's Mexican Vanilla and Belgian Chocolate delivered overnight to his place by Fedex in nifty container of dry ice. Now he loves the stuff too! Pros: Fun people, great ice cream Cons: only in Texas more

IT's ICE CREAM 10/14/2002

It's amazing to me that amy's ice cream was voted the best dessert. It's ice cream more

Go for the chocolate 10/3/2002

I like Amy's a lot. I go there specifically for the chocolate flavored icecream and the liquor flavored icecream. While they are good, I prefer Marble Slab for more traditional flavors and mixins. But my favorite is Paradise Icecream in Lakeway. Pros: Chocolate ice cream Cons: not enough seats more

icecream can get better 9/28/2002

the icecream is good but not worth the money. also there are two many frills and not enough emphasis on good icecream. have had better more

best ice cream I ever ate 9/9/2002

Realy the best ice cream I ever ate. My kids love it. Pros: inexpensive, good for kids more

Ice cream anonymous 8/28/2002

I can't keep my girlfriend out of here. It used to just be a treat but now.....I am even finding myself drawn to the awesome selection of flavors. Enter with caution. more

Amy's Rules!! 8/13/2002

The best, most creative, richest, most decadent ice cream!! The Mexican vanilla has spoiled me- I can't even look at regular vanillas. The hot fudge and chocolate chips are the finest chocolate in town. Let's face it-- I have an Amy's problem. I may need to join AA-Amy's Anon!! Pros: fun and delicious!! more

great eats 8/8/2002

Great expirience, the employees had fun attitudes and the ice cream itself was excellent Pros: good employees, cool vibe, nice interior Cons: prices can get steep more

Very special! 7/26/2002

Don't forget that Amy's has containers to go. They always have pistachio, which is the best ice cream that I have ever had. If you have to have a cone, another treat, when they have it, is peanut butter and jelly with banana crush-ins. Sometimes, when the workeres are in a hyper mood, they get fancy with their presentation, and Amy's becomes an entertaining experience. You don't get that at Baskin-Robbins! more

Move over Ben and Jerry's 5/27/2002

Ben and Jerry's has nothing on Amy's. Many a study break was spent sampling the many homemade flavors at this Austin favorite. Austin's summers wouldn't be the same without the creamy goodness scooped up by Amy's artsy and friendly staff. more

Mmm, Amy's ... 5/15/2002

Great flavors, funky boho kids slappin' your ice cream around behind the counter, super laid-back Austin atmosphere. Love it love it love it. more
