A hidden gem in North Austin 8/29/2005

Alborz made a quiet entrance, but it sure has been making a great impact! The food is authentic and delicious. The hot tea infused with rose water is heavenly. Their buffet offers jewels galore and is continuously refilled. It's a great way to get to sample many of the menu items. The variety of rices available is awesome! I also recommend the rice pudding, also with a splash of rose water. more

Where's the FLAVOR 8/11/2005

This was the most bland, tasteless food I have ever had. Perfect for my now-deceased diabetic grandma. Seriously, someone should introduce the cooks to AT LEAST salt and pepper shakers. Worse than that, the prices are completely exorbitant. I'll pay a pretty penny for GOOD food, not something that tastes like it came from a hospital cafeteria. more
