I came to this shop while staying in a motel down the street - my service engine light came on, and they promptly took me in to read the code. I'm not completely satisfied with the service and I'll explain why. They disregarded my comments about the gas cap being installed incorrectly the last time I'd filled up in Portland where you can't self-serve. I've got one of those gas caps that you have to turn until it clicks to seal. Their diagnosis was a replacement for both oxygen sensors for a pretty hefty cost, but they were not 100% certain. I hesitated about the repair because of the cost, and gas cap issue and it just seemed odd that both sensors would go out at the same time. I did not do the repair, filled up my car with gas and drove around the rest of the day to see how it would drive and if I could safely make it back to Seattle. The following morning when I started the vehicle, the light was out, and I was able to safely drive without any problems. The mechanic who checked my car on the other end said it was most likely the gas cap. It would have been over $400 spent for a problem that didn't exist. I'm unhappy because they dismissed my comments, and they also dismissed my checking on the internet for solutions. They were courteous overall, but I wish they had been more open to what I was telling them.
