I don't believe all these ""10"" ratings are genuine. More likely they were put there by the people who just want the place to have a high-rating. This place SUCKS! If you ever eat here you'll i'm sure you'll agree. more

Hype 2/18/2003

I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's Day. We both agree, the place is hyped. The food was mediocre, and the service was just what you'd expect at a neighborhood grill/bar. If you want a REAL dining experience with stellar service, go to Tru. Pros: Nice ambience Cons: Mediocre food, Cliche proposal spot more

Minimum Dining Requirement 2/15/2003

The first comment is--definitely a nice atmosphere and you can't beat the view. My second comment is that my initial impression of the restaurant wasn't very good. It started with the hostess greeting me and my friend by saying ""just want you to know that their is a 1 entree minimum per person."" Hello--we had a 7:30p reservation for dinner so what in the world did she think?--that we were going to eat off of one plate? Her comment was very tacky and unprofessional and we did think about turning around and walking out. Hint to the manager: you should probably fire the hostess! more

This is the biggist let down! What a crumby place! This place has such potential with the view, but it looks like a Perkin's inside! The staff looks like they are formerly from the waffle house! And the drinks were watered down and over priced! My cosmo tasted like Kool-Aid! more

Give Thanksgiving a Try 12/27/2002

We have eaten here for Thanksgiving a few years in a row and it's always been a fairly good experience. They almost always overbook it and the tables are absolutely mashed together but besides this, the food is pretty awesome. You'll get a wide variey of tradional Thanksgiving food plus a bunch of other items, as well as deserts. Each table gets its own turkey, boxed up to take home once you're done eating. The only thing is that we've had bad and good experiences there - the first year was great, the second stunk. Pros: great view, good food Cons: overbooked, crowded, inconsistent more

My wife and I were underwhelmed. The only great thing about this place is the view, and it was hazy the day we went. The food was sub-par. The service was better, but there is no value here that I see. more

Who needs great food with that view? 11/14/2002

Sure, the foods not great, but the view is! If you're going for decent food that's not expensive, go there for lunch. There's either a buffet, or lunch menu to choose from, many items under $10. And while it's not as romantic during the daytime as it is at night, the view is just as impressive, if not more so. And ladies, be sure to go to the ladies room on the 96th floor- it's touted the best view in the city from there! Pros: View, Ambience, desserts Cons: Adequate food, price more
