Had a 9:00 reservation on a Saturday night, arrived at 8:45 but took until after 9:30 to seat us. The reason we were given was that it took longer because we had requested a window seat. My contention would be that it is the responsibility of the restaurant to coordinate seating, demand, reservations, etc.\r

The wine list was stacked with big names in California Cabs and French Bordeaux, but was lacking in other options such as Chile, which tend to be a better value. I ordered a moderately priced bottle of wine (Marques de Arienzo - Gran Reserva 1996) at $60. Retail the bottle would cost $27-29, so I wouldn't say that the wine was overpriced. My biggest problem is that my glass went dry twice for 10-15 mintues, which is indicative of the lack of attention and service our table was receiving.\r

The lobster bisque was creamy but far too salty for $9 per bowl. My wife's Capresse salad was non-existent and at $12, disheartening for someone who ordered it as a last resort since there were no pasta or vegetarian dishes on the menu. Her side of carrots ($6) tasted as if they had been stewing in beef broth or a roast, so we sent those back in exchange for steamed asparagus ($7). My flatiron steak was properly cooked and delicious, but I would expect nothing less at $42 a la carte. \r

After calling for the dining room manager to discuss the lack of attention and poor service we had received, we turned down the offer for a free dessert. I asked him to come up with a resolution that would be fair since at this point we were thinking dessert downstairs at the Cheesecake Factory was a better option. After about 10 min. someone else returned with the check which had no discount and we had been charged for both vegetables.\r

I called for the dining room manager yet again, this time he never showed. Someone else discounted our bill $30 and took off the side of carrots.\r

For about $120, I have had MUCH better. We are sad to say that this was our last visit.
