I went in for a consultation recently regarding a non-typical issue. Not surprisingly, I was geared to a program for a different (more common) issue. They start off with a ""take away"" - they make it clear that ""they"" choose who is a good client. I knew this was a ploy but went ahead. \r
\r
I've had plenty of sales experience in the past, and while they try to make it seem like a ""soft sell"", it's not. I felt extremely pressured to make a decision right then, and I usually need to think things over when it is something expensive (to me, $1377 for a 3 month program was expensive). \r
\r
They were willing to do a payment plan, but their ""no risk guarantee"" is a CROCK! You are not going to know at the end of one session if this will work or not. If they had said, ""try it for 2 weeks"" or 4 weeks and if you don't feel it is working, then you can get a refund, I would have done it. But one session does not make it ""no risk"". \r
\r
I have no doubt this works for some people. And, as the evaluator said, you do have to listen to the cds, etc, which makes sense. Hypnosis is rarely effective with just one session, so those who assume they just need to go in once and they'll be ""cured"", will of course not be happy.\r
\r
After my consultation, and reading the reviews here, I am certainly more skeptical than ever. I am especially bothered by the review of the person who claims to be a former employee. If their hypnotists are not well-trained and certified, then this company is not only committing fraud, they should be sued, as they have no business using people who have not been appropriately trained and certified. \r
\r
For anyone considering this program, be proactive and demand to see the hypnotist's credentials (ie, where they were trained, and proof of certification). If they are unwilling to show you that, then do NOT spend your money on this company.\r
\r
For me at this point, I am highly skeptical and choose to not spend $1377 on this.
Pros: Staff was pleasant
Cons: Cost
