I replaced my lint trap, with a part I purchased from this store, last week, easy. But after replacing the part, my dryer stopped heating. No luck troubleshooting on google or you-tube, so called store and made appointment. Technician showed on time, was very nice and courteous. I already had dryer apart (no work there). explained what I replaced, he looked and saw a wire was switched; unplugged and re-plugged on next terminal over and WALA heat. Then proceeded to write up a bill for $75, Literally took longer to write up the bill than fix problem. WOW, Not blaming the tech, he felt bad and wouldn't have charged me, but explained just following store policy. Didn't know the business was hurting so bad. I get it time is money, but really, there are some integrity issues when the only real work completed was driving to my house. I guess it could have been worse, he could have seen the wire and replaced my heating element, for the extra money. Luckily the technician had more integrity and pride, even if the company made him the bad guy. SAD, probably wont call them again or recommend. Thanks for fixing my dryer, enjoy the $74.85 per second rate, have steak dinner and a beer on me. RESPONSE FROM Nebraska Home Appliance: I'm glad to hear that yours was a simple fix. The part my dryer needed was not in stock and had to be ordered, not a big deal. But, the time it took to dismantle the machine and put it back together after the part arrived, was about an hour. However, nearly $300 for a repair of a $30 part and an hour of labor is steep! I should have gone into appliance repair for a career. We were so pleased with the gentleman from Nebraska Home Appliance, truly. As far as I can recall, it was because of his care and concern and excellent work. He was just a very, very nice man. It's been a while, but from what I remember he did a terrific job putting in our new dryer and was just very courteous and kind the whole time. more

Had a washer control board go bad on my LG washing machine. Was out of country and called. Brian got my part ordered, and John made sure it was there for me when I was worried about it showing up. Shipping was 1 day later then planned but that was FedEX's fault. So glad John was there to help me trouble shoot and used his experience to figure out what the problem was. A competitor told me it would be 2 weeks to get part, NHA got it for me in 4 days!!!!!! Greg promised he would call as soon as the part hit the building and he did. Wife's happy, clothes are clean again! Thanks more

Nebraska Home Appliance repaired my built-in microwave and it turned out so good so far. It was up to the point where they either replaced the parts or we just break down and get a new one. I think the part was only five or six years old and couldn't get that same microwave so I just decided to gamble and keep my microwave. Everyone I talked to over the phone was very courteous and the gentleman who came out was super nice, explained everything, and I couldn't ask for a nicer group of people to work with. more

There was a job where Nebraska Home Appliance was suppose to send someone over between 1 and 4 o'clock, but the serviceman called at 4:30, saying he could there by 5. He came over to check the thermostat on the oven. After he was done, he asked me if there was anything else that needed to be fixed. I liked that. It's nice knowing I could have more than one thing fixed at time without having scheduled it. Brian is really friendly. I actually made an appointment online, and that worked out great. They did a follow up call to make sure I had scheduled it through the website. I've used them before and will continue to do so. more

The gentleman from Nebraska Home Appliance was thorough. He didn't have a total answer, but he didn't give up. He figured it out, came back, and took care the situation. He was very professional. He was fixing a refrigerator I had moved. It wasn't running once it arrived at the place. The problem turned out to be a bad cord. He did everything he could to figure it out and replaced it efficiently. It was a good experience. I was recommended to Nebraska Home Appliance by others that had used them and I would highly recommend them myself. more

Nebraska Home Appliance has very, very good service technicians. We have had no problems. This past call they came to repair our dishwasher. We have been using them for twenty-some years. They arrive on time, they get the job done, and they have the parts. The technicians are friendly and careful with their work as well as with your personal property. The phone receptionist is always very accommodating and the technician calls prior to arrival. They have all the necessary equipment and are very efficient. We've had no problems. more

My experience turned out awful because the problem cost more to fix than the machine itself originally cost, but it was good, prompt service from Nebraska Home Appliance. The guy was very thorough and knowledgeable. He can't help it how much the parts cost. I've used them before and always gotten good service. more

Nebraska Home Appliance has come out and worked on both my house and my rental property. They have always been there when they said they would be. A lot of times they'll have the part on the truck, so they finish everything at the time of the visit. This time there was a little misunderstanding, but overall they've been really good. I've been working with them for at least three years. They do their job. They do what they say they are going to and then they're done. It's in and out--bang! With our business customers will send their friends over. That's what I would do with them. more

Tried to claim many expensive parts were needed - "fixed" latch, only worked for one cycle. Charged a lot more than promised for 15 minute service.! 9/14/2013

At first claimed he couldn't do anything because the model and serial number was unreadable. Then proceeded to claim we needed several hundred dollars worth of parts. Then "fixed" the latch, but only worked for one cycle. I went on-line, figured out our Bosch model, ordered one part for $30, self installed and the dishwasher works like a champ. Do not call Nebraska Appliance - what a rip-off by incompetent dishonest service technition. RESPONSE FROM Nebraska Home Appliance: I am sorry for your experience. It sounds like we tried to make the best of a bad situation in which we could not source your parts with any guarantee of success due to a missing model tag, so we attempted a repair on your old latch and you continued having problems. You should know that we do guarantee every repair we make for a minimum of 90 days, and a simple phone call to our office would have resulted in an expedient return to your home at no charge to make any remedial repairs necessary or evaluate other options. Our offices are open 6 days a week to take your call anytime you have a concern about a repair, and I assure you, we are here to help. We will still be happy to solve your situation if you would like to call us at your convenience. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. more
