I shopped at Nebraska Home Appliance because they had the best costs. I knew what I wanted, but the salesperson who assisted me was very helpful. I was looking for a new washer and dryer. He knew everything about the products and was more than helpful providing me with the terms of service and warranty information. After the purchase he setup the delivery and installation. The products arrived on time and the installation went smoothly. I am happy with my purchases and there have been no faults. It was a great experience. more

I contacted NE Home Appliance and was scheduled for a service call within 2 days with a call if any cancellation available. The service tech ( Shane Rickard) provided professional, efficient, courteous service explaining exactly what the problem was. He was able to fix my refrigerator and did so in a neat and orderly manner. Definitely would use services they provide again and will recommend to others.. more

My 55-year-old Tappan oven was not working. This jeopardized Thanksgiving. I called NHA. Finding replacement parts was out of the question. The technicians were still able to fix my oven and save Thanksgiving for my family. They were prompt, courteous and focused. Even though parts were not available they were still able to fix my problem - in less than an hour! If I have another problem NHA will be my first call! more

The problem with the refrig is fixed although there was some question as to the actual cause. Overall very satisfied with the experience. I would appreciate an itemized bill though, I never learned what the service call vs. the parts cost was. more

Nebraska Home Appliance came out recently to fix our broken ice maker, which had been broken before we moved into this house. I had been working on this issue myself to cut costs, plus I like learning new things, but after doing lots of research, I had figured that the problem now was something called a Diode Kit. I had seen videos online about how to change it and it looked fairly simple, but it requires cutting wires and such, so I was a little leery on doing this myself. Thus, I called NE Home Appliance, thinking if that was the issue, it shouldn't be too expensive. Two guys came out and took about 30 mins diagnosing the problem, which did end up being the diode kit. Online, this kit costs $20. They put the new kit in in 15 mins., so they were there and gone in under an hour. (I will add here that they were very quick and efficient and came the day after I called them). So, I had heard some appliance repair places charge $100/hr. Thus, I'm figuring the cost at max should be $100 + $20 kit = $120 They quoted the job at $221.......they said they had a coupon that made it $197 and after I talked to their boss, they ended up coming down to $175 as the final price, still higher than I expected. What was the most frustrating was that they couldn't tell me why they charged so much. All they could tell me was that they put what repair they were doing into a computer system and it gave them the amount they were to charge - they had no idea how much the part was by itself or any way to break down charges for me('they' being the repairmen and their boss I talked to on the phone). I would've sent them off without repairing but then I was still out $70 just to have them come out and diagnose a problem I already knew, and I still was just a little worried about doing it myself.....I've learned my lesson. All that being said, this is not a slam at anyone specifically, as I don't know who this falls on exactly anyway. I just hope the company reads this and maybe makes some adjustments to make sure everyone working there as well as the customer knows exactly what they are getting and why. more

It was a pretty straightforward repair. Nebraska Home Appliance was prompt about scheduling a visit. The repairman diagnosed the problem quickly; he had to order a part but scheduled a follow up and they were on time with the follow up. The repair was done quickly and all to my satisfaction! more

Everything about my experience with Nebraska Home Appliance was pretty easy. They were able to get to my house within a day or two of when I called to schedule the appointment. They repaired the kitchen garbage disposal, and were very respectful in my home. more

I'm a DIY guy and have called NHA twice now to help troubleshoot and get parts. Both times, I got expert advice over the phone. NHA shipped my parts to my door (out of sate) and I was able to get my appliances (microwave and Kenmore fridge) running like new. I saved $$$ doing it myself. more

Even though I live 400 miles away from their store and I don't always know when I'm able to go into town, Nebraska Home Appliance has always been gracious about working out an appointment for me. I haven't had any luck with service people in my area, so it's nice to be able to rely on a company that knows how to fix things and doesn't just charge for below average service. more

I have worked with Nebraska Home Appliance for many years. They are reasonable in price and their merchandise is good. I purchased a refrigerator there and they have made service calls for general maintenance on that unit. The technicians always do what they said they would do. I will gladly return to Nebraska Home Appliance when they have any appliance I need. more

I've only bought small items from Nebraska Home Appliance and they always seem to have what I need. I've bought a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator. I was surprised how little they look from the outside but inside they have everything and are pretty helpful. Their quality is also good! more

Our icemaker was not functioning. We had it replaced by another company. The service person came back a second time, since it still did not make ice. Finally, my husband was asked if he had any idea why it wasn't working...which he didn't. We called Nebraska Home Appliance and the diagnosis and treatment took Shane about 40 minutes.
