WOW!!!!!! Let me start by saying that this is the only place I have ever been where what you see on the commercial is really what you get. \r I saw a commercial with T Mack talking about their Holloween weekend sale (couches starting at $99!!) and I really needed a new couch, but because I am a college student on a tight budget, with an even tighter schedule, I really wanted to check out the sale, however I was worried that I would not have enough time to look around and actually make a purchase. \r Oh Boy was i Wrong, Not only was T Mack (from the commercial) actually there, he was my sales man, he helped me hand pick the couch, and even helped me out with a deal on delivering the it. \r I paid like $150 less than I expected to and got a better couch than i expected to as well... Picking out and paying for the couch took maybe 20 minutes and it was delivered to my house that afternoon!!!!! Very Impressive\r \r I am telling every student at University of Houston to shop Hilton Furniture. \r \r Thanks again Hilton more

I was looking for a new dining room table and went to several other stores first for comparison. I found the same table i wanted with BETTER chairs AND for $50 less at Hilton. The salesman was very friendly and very helpful. It was an amazing experience and I love my new table!!\r \r Thanks Hilton!!! more

I liked what I bought at Hilton - a 10"" memory foam mattress. At least I got to lie on one and make sure it was what I wanted. The price was fairly reasonable and they have layaway.\r Aside from waiting 10 minutes then tracking down a salesman - and aside from the fiasco that followed in trying to determine what the best payment plan was, it was a fairly good experience. \r They snapped to attention when I, out of patience, threatened to leave without buying anything.\r I was told one thing over the phone and quite another in person. I will admit, they didn't try to hard-sell me into buying something I didn't need. But I brought everything but a dna sample for their 'no credit check' requirements and it wasn't enough. They sat me at a computer and had me bring up my bank records. The latest statement was not yet online, yet they asked me twice for it. I printed my latest bank records before I got steamed enough to ask if all this was necessary for a simple layaway. I guess our wires got crossed; they thought I was asking for credit. Wait - isn't there no credit check? WTF? So I said hey - all I want is a simple layaway. Do you need my firstborn son? No, thankfully, a layaway was fine. I wrote a check for a down payment and went away peeved. I'll like my mattress once I get it home, but I don't intend to go back to Hilton for anything else. They say one thing and do another. more

My husband and I looked at several other furniture stores for a bedroom set we couldn't live without. We found the one we wanted at Hilton. Dale gave us a great price and even threw a mattress in the package. They made the transaction hassle free and even though we don't have perfect credit, they were able to work out a payment plan with us. Great furniture, great people and great prices! more

Not knowing about mattresses, salesman T.Mack took his time to explain the difference between all of the mattresses they have in stock. I was pleased to find the one I love and the price that T. Mack gave me for being a previous customer was fantastic!!! That night I had one of the best night sleep on my new mattress. I want all of my friends to go there first, because time is so precious that is a waste of time to go from store to store. more

I've been shopping around for theatre seating for a couple of days, and was very disappointed, i made hilton my last stop, and wish i made them my first stop, the service i receive was great, staff very knowlegable, and the price, was great, hilton had a lot of choices to choose from, and than i notice a bedroom suit, and will be purching one on next pay day... the prices are very affordable, and if you in the market for funiture, no need to shop around because this is the place\r HILTON IS YOUR BEST STOP. more

Saw simular merchandise at four other stores, And pick this store for the purchase. Salesman was not pushy and it was a relaxed atmosphere, also price friendly. \r Delivery offer at my convience. Owner made me feel like a part of the family. Thanks more

My uncle curtis & myself purchase 2 memory foam king mattress today & are being delivered TODAY.Salesman Wes & Dale gave us a great deal then along came owner Hilton,we talked about family and realized his father and my grandmother were from the same town,then we recieved a better deal.WHAT GREAT SERVICE. In my 70yrs thats the 1st 5 STAR rating I have or would give to any business,and I recieved NO discount for this review. No pressure,comfortable,atmosphere,will go back soon. more

I purchased a king size mattress yesterday and it is being delivered today. Dale was the saleman and very nice and showed me what I wanted to see and explained each level of matresses. I am anxious to see how good this mattress is going to be and how long it is going to be of excellent quality. I will update in the future. Wendy 10/2010 more

Great Experience! When we walked in we were greeted by the salesman Dale very polite he shook our hands and said look around let me know if you need anything i will not follow you i will give you a chance to look. That was great because every other place we went to salesman followed you and keep asking questions. Once we were done looking we called Dale over and we told him what we were looking for and the price range we wanted it for. I wanted big man furniture and that can usually range 2500 to 3000 for the good quality. Dale gave us a price that was more then we wanted to pay he spoke with my husband then Mr Hilton came introduced himself and helped us out (He was very polite respectful and willing to help) I got my big man furniture for the price we wanted we are very happy cusotmers. We went on sunday at 4:00 and the furniture was delivered at 6:00. There was a red marker on the ottoman i called Dale and he put in a order to have a brand new one made. He called me and told me what the process was very polite on the phone. I will be shopping there again and letting family and friends know about the great service i had. If you go ask for Dale. more

Today for the 1st time I experienced a wonderful buying experience at Hilton Furniture and Leather on the Gulf \r Freeway. As we approached the Building, Dale met outside and took care of us in all respects. He had what appeared to be honest and sincere answers to all our questions. I told him to sharpen his pencil for the bedroom furniture we were buying and he did. Then I said, thats not good enough and his response was, what will it take. I gave him a price on a couple thousand dollars worth of furniture, and he got with in $30. Great deal, great person and to to it off Mr. Hilton sealed the deal and shook our hands, thanking us for the business. more

I went to Hilton looking for a mattress. We looked around for a while on our own and refused the help of the two salesmen of two men. We found a mattress that we were interested in and asked Doug for help. He was very knowledgeable about the mattress and even threw in the frame for free and gave us a discount because it was an out of the box mattress. Good place to buy furniture although I would recommend not leaving customers' applications out where everyone can view them. more

Hilton recently made a commercial, proclaiming that he would sll to anyone, no matter what their credit score, ""NO CREDIT CHECK"" ABSOLUTLY NOBODY REFUSED"", So I took my 75 yr old Mother there with the promise of easy financing with no credit check, the first thing they did is run her credit, which was not in good enough shape for them. Next they tried to get her to use some fly by night finance company that would more than double the cost of the bed from 1800 to 3600 dollars. My Mom was very insulted and left with the feeling that she had been lied to. I have purchased a lot of furniture from Hilton, but now I will never set foot in his store again. Dont let the pictures of his cute little family fool you. more

I went in on a Sunday night at 7:15 and Doug helped me with everything. he informed me on all information on matresses and I decided to purchase a Paris jade pillow top memory foam matresse for a very good price. They also delivered that night about one hour later. the owner on the commercials shook my hand and thanked me for my business. I was very happy with the purchase, I read the previous reviews and none of that happened to me at all. the delivery guys delivered within one hour of my purchase and they said yes ma'am and no ma'am to everything. they also moved my old bed and matress into our guest bedroom. no questions asked. I was very happy with the service. just ignore the previous reviews and ask for Doug. he will help you and you will be very happy. more

Had a great experience at Hilton Furniture. Just got into a new apt recently and furniture shopping was a must this weekend. Hilton was a first stop (not on purpose) and the minute we walked in the door salesman Dale was at our service. He asked a lot of question trying to get a feel for what my boyfriend and i were looking for and then took us around the entire store to show us what they had.When we showed interests in items, without even asking, he started to make deals with us. No BS, no cutting the corners, straight number to number deals. Of course the more we purchased from him, the better the deals we got. We liked there beds and couches but wanted some other options too, so he got a a book of beds/couches to look at and even made us deals on those items. We got our entire apt furniture picked out and numbers in order that afternoon BUT my boyfriend and i still wanted to shop around and see what else was out there. We are a young couple, never furniture shopped before and as a stated before, hilton was our first stop. So Dale willingly let us leave his store and shop for the next two days, still allowing us to come back and the exact deal still be available. SO WE DID. We went to over 7 different places to see what else was out there, and sure, there were decent deals to be had, but when all was said and done, Dale gave us the best service, the most attention, wheeled and dealed with us till we were satisfied, and because of that, we came back and bought our ENTIRE apt furniture from him. The delivery fee and installation fee were unbeatable along with the time frame the delivered in.We will go back to Hilton and we will send our friends and family down to wheel and deal with Dale, though all of the employees where extremely nice and im sure would take care of us just like dale did. I purchased a memory foam mattress (Paris Jade) for $2000 from hilton furniture in November 2009. They told me it was top of the line and compare to the tempurpedic mattress for $3500 and how it would be so good for my health. When i first received my mattress there was a smell of gasoline that covered my whole house for two weeks. when i called the store they said "" that is the smell of foam "" they cant do anything to help. i just lived with it till three weeks ago during the cold weather the mattress got hard as a rock , when i called the store, their response "" this is memory foam"" this is how it works ... a $2000 mattress is supposed to change comfort levels?? .. I finally decided to go in the store and tried to talk to hilton for help to only see him insulting a customer in his store. I decided to not be made a fool of in front of all these people and left the store. I decided to research "" paris Jade"" brand .. come to find out that is hilton daughter name and the mattress is imported from china.. Now i am stuck with sometimes hard sometimes soft smelly yellow color mattress ( foam even changed color ) .. PLEASE PLEASE DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR DO NOT BUY PARIS JADE MATTRESS FROM HILTON FURNITURE Cons: EVERYTHING more

I bought furniture from Hilton in Feburary 2009 and 2 months later the cushions from my sofa started ripping I called at the store 8 times before I got tired and went to go visit in person. They told me to bring the sofa to the store and they will look at it and decide what they can do. I told them I have no way to bring it and manager got real smart with me and told me ""That's not my problem now is it?""\r I asked to speak to Hilton and they said he is the one who put the policy in place and trained them to tell customers that, I was disgusted by the response. I finally paid my neighbor $25 to help me take the sofa to the store they kept it for 10 days and then returned it back to me in same condition and yes I had to go back and pick it up and told me they ordered the parts that are coming from China(God knows when). Well Today is Sept 112009 and I still don't have my sofas that I bought for $1800 fixed. This is my public service to tell people don't go to Hilton Furniture because they just interested in your money and then they don't care any more and Mr. Hilton please return your phone calls.
