New to Doctor Fix-It 11/30/2016

The service great. Shane did a nice job explaining the problem with our de-humidifier (it was 20 years old and failing), and he replaced it the same day. He was friendly and cleaned as he went and before he left. I only wish I could have received a detailed explanation of the costs for the project i.e. parts, labor, etc. I asked but was told they only have "flat" prices. Given the age of our home, we signed up for the maintenance plan. The "included" services like annual furnace and a.c. tune ups as well as whole home plumbing and electrical inspections seemed worth it. more

Great service 10/27/2016

This was the first time I used this company. I had my furnace cleaned and checked by Shane M. He was very nice and took the time to explain to me what he was doing and why he was doing it. He seemed to be very thorough and not just trying to rush through it. I also had my hot water tank flushed and checked by George. He was also very kind and took the time to talk to us. Very good experience and looking forward to using them both for future maintenance! more

Honest, quick work 10/14/2016

George Douglas came to fix a leak in my basement. He not only fixed the work, but fixed what other plumbers had done wrong, for less than half of the lowest quote I got from a different plumber. He was completely un-phased at having to step over my elderly dog and didn't mind my toddlers running all over the house. I was really happy with him. more

Excellent service; high cost 9/21/2016

Jeff Long from Dr. Fix-It did a great job installing a wash room sink. No problems with him. My only problem is that the company does not work by the hour but by set rates based on some past experience. Unfortunately they did not have a precise category for my job so he had to charge $500 for what amounted to a little over an hour's work. Nice profit if you can get it every time! more

Bathroom remodel 9/8/2016

Really 10 stars. Eric and Gerry were above the top on service and work. Gerry is a top notch tile man, remodeling, etc. They hauled everything off, cleaned up. Were very polite, clean and I love my new bathroom. Came right back when I had a very minor issue with water temp. Gave me cell numbers to contact if anything went wrong. My dog liked them and that was very important. Would highly recommend to anyone and have done so!!! more

Furnace and A/C Install 8/24/2016

Paul came out to the house, explained what the options were for the job that I needed to have done and gave me a good quote. I scheduled the install for a week later. Matt S and Robert Q were on time, courteous and efficient. They took the time to show me what they have done and explain the workings of the heating and AC units to me. They also showed me how to program the new thermostat. I was very pleased with the whole team and would recommend their products and services to others. more

Complete furnace/act replacement. Robert was onsite all day until Robert Q was on site 12 hours until 10pm to get the job done. Very thorough and clean up was great. more

Great job 7/15/2016

Doctor Fix It did a fine job on the original installation of a replacement heating and air conditioning system, and in explaining what type of equipment was needed. A problem with the air conditioning was resolved in a timely manner with the the technician explaining that the system was undercharged with due to very high temps outside when it was installed. I intend to call the company for other work that I will need in my home. more
