Ophelia was great scheduling the appointment. David was on time and had solutions for my whole house humidifier. He was most excellent at explaining what the problem was and then fixing it. I will request him when it is time for the spring check up or any other HVAC issues. more

Furnace Filter System Replacement 1/30/2018

I couldn’t find replacement filter for my 1994 furnace filter system, plus the electric filters didn’t seem to be working. David Cabral of Dr. Fix-It came out and explained that this old filtration system wasn’t working anymore and that it should be replaced with a more modern MERK 13 filter system which merely requires replacement of the filter every year. He priced it and set an time. He came on time and did the job as priced, in a professional and courteous manner. He took the time to show me what he did and why. And hen showed me what to do in the future. I would and will use them again. more

Humidifier installation 1/17/2018

Nearly 2 weeks go your team installed an Aprilaire model 800 humidifier, air filter, UV light system and thermostat. The humidifier has never worked at all and has not raised our home's humidity at all. Justin Butler will return tomorrow to replace it and/or fix it. I am cautiously hopeful. Your company has been attentive to this problem and your employees work hard and are, no doubt, well intentioned. But I still have a home humidification system which does not work at all!!! My rating at present is 1 more

Yesterday was I believe the 3rd time I've used Doctor-Fix-It for household repairs that I don't trust myself to attempt. I've had them out for plumbing, electrical, and as of yesterday - heating. We woke up to a cold house and discovered the furnace was not working. Just as my previous experiences, the scheduling process was quick and easy - and Julio came out later that afternoon. He was courteous, professional, and patient enough to walk me through each step as he diagnosed the furnace. He quickly identified the issue and made the fix on the spot. Couldn't be happier! I've been so happy with each experience that I decided to buy in to the membership offering so that Doctor Fix It is my go-to for both preventative maintenance and repairs. more

Water Heater Failure 11/13/2017

Dr. Fixit did outstanding work in responding to my water heater failure in our investment condo. In particular, Eric Nielsen, who was the senior technician that responded initially and performed the system replacement, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, professional and gave attention to detail that is not always the case for service technicians. Also, the price was competitive (a little better than other estimates) for the same work scope. I would strongly recommend Dr. Fixit for this type of work. more
